Alive, Again?

Update, Kaede is Just About Done.

Kaede's POV

Update, it ended up being a horrible experience. Not even five minutes minutes after the bus started moving Kokichi decided that he was bored, and thought the best way to cure his boredom was yelling 'DEER!' while the bus driver was looking into one of the mirrors because some random car was tailing us for no reason. This caused the driver to slam on his brakes and make Angie, Gonta, and Rantaro to fall out of their seats and made multiple people wake up from napping, luckily we didn't get into a accident. The bus driver apologized profusely before continuing to drive towards our destination. 

The next big event was poor Kiibo being cornered into the farthest part of his seat by Kokichi and Miu, both trying to figure out if he was really human or if this was just a new fleshy looking model his maker put him in. Rantaro obviously tried to get them both back into their seats as quickly as possible after seeing how scared Kiibo looked. I'm half convinced that if either of them actually touched him he would shrink or shriek, probably the latter. 

Then after Kokichi's treachery ended, by Shuichi giving him something to watch which was an hour long. Gonta noticed that one of his spiders got out of it's mini cage that he was carrying, after informing everyone of this everything stopped. I'm serious, even the rumbling from the bus started to quiet down. After a few moments of silent panic Himiko squealed from Korekiyo pointing towards the spider... Which was directly next to the mage. With yet another stroke of luck Gonta was able to put it back into it's cage before Tenko decided that smashing it would be in everyone's best interest. 

All of this happening within a twenty minute time span. Done with everything and on a full bus with a drained social battery I laid my head back and fell into a nice sleeping state. Now that I caught you all up with where we are, let's continue this story.

Being woken by a surprisingly warm thing lay on my shoulder I shift my weight to my other side so I can lay my head on whatever it was. Soaking in the warmth with a yawn I fall back asleep, not noticing the flustered noises coming from whatever I just laid my head on.

3rd Person POV

As Kaede slept Miu continued to turn redder my the minute, regretting switching seats with Kokichi almost as soon as she switched. Kokichi giving her a sly smirk before continuing to nudge Shuichi with his elbow until Shuichi looked down at what Kokichi was trying to show him. Grinning as he happily gushed about what he just watched, explaining his thoughts on it before noticing Shuichi's raised brow and telling him how he sped up the video to get through it faster. Shuichi sighed at his statement, realizing that him and Miu switched seats he glanced over at Kaede to make sure she isn't gonna pop in any way shape or form. Faintly smirking when he saw Miu's flushed expression and Kaede's peaceful sleeping face. 

Turning back towards Kokichi who was grinning ear to ear while giggling at the girls, seemingly enjoying being somewhat apart of Miu's flustered state. And maybe, just a bit, glad she was actually finally realizing what he already found out a little while ago. After a second of giggling he switched his demeanor almost completely and went back to silently watching another sped up hour long video on hieroglyphs and how many exist throughout human history. Munching on his Cheetos and... Panta? When did he even- nevermind. Yawning, Shuichi rested his head on the back of his seat. Seeing how Kaede and multiple others within his 'class' were able to sleep he decided a nap wouldn't do him much harm. Falling asleep quickly, he snored quietly.

Kaede's POV

Sitting up with a horrible ache in my neck I take a look around, the only thing I seem to notice is the fact that we haven't arrived. Then, the feeling of something, or rather, someone hanging onto my torso. The first thing I saw was a certain strawberry blond snuggling up into a ball next to me. Smiling inwards a bit, she looked to be having a pretty good dream since she was smiling with a bit of drool coming from the side of her mouth. With a airy laugh I tried not to wake her as I wiped the drool away from the corner of her mouth. Hearing chuckling from the seat over I glace from the corner of my eye.

Shuichi and Kokichi were both chuckling at.. us? Me? Then with a little bit of pressure from Miu's naturally wondering hands I realized just why they were giggling. Somehow, someway,  and being sneaky enough for me not to notice Miu's hand was laying on my boob... Miu's hand... was laying... After a few seconds of drowsy rendering I felt my face burning. Miu's hand is on my boob omg how and why is this happening omg I feel like I'm going to die Ahhhh-

" Hey Kaede... You good there? You're a little red. " Shuichi pointed out as my internal panic raged. Kokichi on the line of rolling on the ground laughing and trying to hold in his laughter to be 'polite' as he made a knowing look towards Miu who had unknowingly woken up at some point. 

" Yeah Kayayday, you're looking like a- a fucking tomato at this point! " Kokichi shouted before howling out in laugher, holding his stomach as he rocked in his seat. Shuichi smirking some, holding in some of his own laugher, obviously better at holding it then his purple headed seat partner. 

Miu then adjusted herself better in her 'sleep' so she could easily lay her head in my lap while hugging onto my torso like I was a teddy bear, not to say that I was complaining. Resting a hand on her head I quickly grew to love how soft her hair was, smiling a bit instead of doing my best impression of a strawberry. 

Running my hand through Miu's surprisingly unknotted hair she groaned, oh no, did I wake her up? Thinking how I was gonna excuse why I was practically petting her in her sleep I notice that she just nuzzled her head into my abdomen more then resting her head back into my lap, guess I didn't wake her. I sigh out of relief, looking back up at Shuichi and Kokichi, both going back to doing their own thing. Kokichi watching videos and Shuichi reading a book he brought along with him, speaking about books, I just remembered I brought a piano book that I was planning to read. Just one more question... How am I going to reach the book without waking up a certain pink haired inventor that's currently trying to curl around me like I'm the last source of heat on this entire planet.

After a moment of thinking I feel the bus come to a stop, looking out the window to watch people scurry around near the entrance of a tall, white, fancy looking building. The bus stopped at the entrance of a large archway that seemed the only way into the area by the towering walls around it. Looking a little past the arch and ignoring the people that moved at the pace of ants you could see that the building was surrounded by green grass and old trees. It looked quite peaceful if you didn't mind being swarmed by people trying to do their own things. I think it would actually be nice to walk around at night, when everyone is at home and sound asleep.

Making a mental note of that as I look back at Miu who most likely woke up because she didn't feel the bus moving anymore. She looked up for a second taking a moment as her eyes traveled up to meet my face, was she drowsy? Most likely, I mean drowsiness sure does make me take my time before I realize what's going on. After a moment of her gaze traveling around my face she turned a deep maroon color and quickly shot straight into her own seat, making sure to keep herself facing the isle instead of anyone in this seating arrangement. 

" Good morning to you too. " I say giggling, catching our friends attention and making them face towards Miu. Shuichi with a slight smile and nod, Kokichi with a huge grin.

" Aww, looks like Miu didn't die in her sleep. Such a shame. " Kokichi whined, taking the moment to start pushing Miu's buttons, man is this guy relentless.

" Hey, she just woke up, let her be for a bit. Ok Kokichi? " Shuichi asked as he pat Kokichi on the head, grimacing at the 'Ok Shumai!' he got in turn. You could see on his face he was more then glad to take a hit for the team instead of a most likely still drowsy Miu who still wasn't facing any of them.

" Ok kids, gather your stuff and march on to the new era of your life! " The bus driver called onto the radio system he had on the bus, smiling from the front of the isle before sitting back down in his seat.

Well, I hope this era was better then the last one. I wished to myself as I took a small breath and looked out the window. No, this one is gonna be better then the last one.

I am really sorry for not posting in a while, I'm not gonna make up some dumb excuse or something I'm just sorry for not posting. But! To try to make up for it, I tried 3rd person POV! You can tell it's not my strong suit but I wanted to try and do something different to try to make up being silent for so long! Also, as always, make sure you're drinking and eating plenty. Reminder that rest is always important too! (I say as I write this at 1am) Hope school is treating you all well!
