Chapter 5

-Matty's POV

I sat there shocked unable to move, I was burning. My face was on fire my heart was blazing. Never have I ever felt this before, even with a girl. And I've been with a lot of girls.

"That was...That was." I couldn't speak, I was panting so hard. Damn did he take my breath away.

"Intense." A voice said from behind. I jerked my body around and stand up. Taking deep breaths to calm my body. Shay was standing there, brow raised and a slight smile. Alex and Eren were with her.

"What-Did you. See?"

"Wow the great Matt Connors, lost for words. Funny." Alex laughed.

"I don't have time for your shit Alex. I have to go after Carter." I walked to the door, opening it. But Shay ran to me and closed it.

"Carter needs to be alone, Matty. He has to know what he did and why. If you go after him you now ill just beat you up." She was strong, yes. She was the only girl on the boxing team. She might look weak but she was strong.

I shock my head and bit my lower lip. "I have to talk with him." I said my voice finally coming back.

"If he wanted to talk don't you think we would have stayed. I mean you did just sit there." Alex stated. Why Carter was her friend: I don't know. I didn't like her, she was just always a bitch. And she was making me mad.

"I didn't say anything because I was. I was fucking shocked. I mean you don't just kiss someone like that and leave! Exceptionally after he was kissing you."

"The only reason her was kissing me was too see if what he was feeling was real, you were his first kiss." I was his what? His first kiss?

"I don't have time for this." I started to walk down the hall, passing Alex and Eren.

"I have a question first." Alex stopped me and looked at me. "How do you feel now that the tables have turned. This time he's kissed you?" I widened my eyes. They knew, they fucking knew. I stormed away from them. Possible reason why they knew: 1) Carter told them. 2) Kale told them. 3) Shay told them. Ill go with number 2.

I walked home after I got my stuff.

This was going to take awhile.

After what felt like a hour I was finally a block from my house. I felt like I had frost bit and was ready to fall apart if someone hit. The sun was setting different colors filling the sky along with stars and a half faint full moon.

I made it home and rushed in walking to the dinning room to find my mom, preparing the table for dinner.

"Hey hunny, did you walk home?" She asked looking up at me.

I sniffed my runny nose and nodded. I could have had my dad drive me since he is the pricaplecbut I didn't wan him to know I skipping out on Drama and Kale was in volleyball practice anyway.

"Mom can I borrow the Sudan? I have to meet up with Carter."

"Sure, they're in my purse." She pointed to a jean purse on the table and rummaged for the silver keys. I told her i'd be home around nine and she agreed. I walked out into the cold weather again and got in the black Sudan and drove off.
Carter lived in the forest part of town, and my house was close by. It only took twenty minutes to make it there. I felt scared the hole time I was driving over there I kept asking why was going to see him.

'Because he kissed me and I want to know why.' But I felt like I already knew the answer to that. 'Because I want to see him.' And I did I wanted to see him so bad. 'Because I wanted to kiss him back..." And-I did.
