Hyde Anderson... I know that name from somewhere.
"So," he said, "I wanted to know if maybe, I dunno, you maybe wanted to see a movie sometime?"
My heart sped up... Again.
"Umm..." I trailed off. I'd only just met the guy. But, oh. Was he cute. "Sure?" It came out as a question rather than a statement.
"No!" he shouted, throwing his hands up in front of him, his face turning bright red. "Not like as a date or anything..."
I smiled. "Haha, okay. Sure."
His shoulders sagged, releasing some of the tension in them. His eyes sparkled and he smiled.
This should be fun.
