Is This Reality? (An Emo Love Story)

     The car ride seemed like an eternity long. The ride was silent, talking here and there, but mumbling. We arrived at the mall, a I squealed in joy. Hyde looked at me. "What stores do you usually shop at?"

     I just stared at him. "Hot Topic, Pacific West."

     He smiled. "Well, looks like we have the same taste." I smiled and he laughed.

     We walked in together. At least no one stared. I saw the sign 'HOT TOPIC' and I nearly died. I haven't been here in forever! My parents are so fucking cheap. I squealed and ran into the store, and automatically went to where they had all of their band tees.

     I bought BOTDF, BVB, Pierce The Veil, All Time Low, Green Day, Falling In Reverse, and a My Chemical Romance tees. I just couldn't choose...

     I heard a chuckle sound behind me as I was looking frantically at the skinnies they had. I turned around to see Hyde staring at me. "What?" I smiled then turned back around.

     "You having fun?" he asked.

     "Duh." Hyde laughed and walked off to look at the lip rings. Once he chose what he wanted, he paid the clerk and we left. "Well," I said. "That was fun!"

     Hyde smiled when I said this. He laughed and pulled out of the parking lot, and headed home.

     Once we got back, I put my bags on the couch, and we both sat down from exhaustion. Then the dorr bell rang. "I'll get it!" I screamed, jumping up. I opened up the door to see a familiar face staring at me.

     I nearly had a heart attack at who I saw.
