Beep
Beep
"Fuck, I am up now, okay?" Am I talking to my alarm clock? I have officially lost it. I cover my eyes with my hands, trying to block out the light coming from my windows. I thought I closed those blinds? Damnit.
I sit up and glance at my clock.
9:10 am
Wow, I got up early. Yesterday, mom said the plane will take off at 12 but knowing my family, we will probably leave 2 hours early.
I get out of bed and smile, my room looks fantastic, this never happens. Maybe I should take a picture? Keep it as a memory for when I argue with myself about cleaning my room?
That thought went away fast because of my dad.
"Honey, we're about to leave, get dressed." He announced, the smile stretched on his face grew bigger, and his tone was filled with excitement.
"Okay, it will only be a minute."
He nodded and left, closing the door on his way out. He is the only person in this house that closes the door when they leave, love him for that.
I walk over to my dresser, picking out my outfit. This red blouse looks good, but the white one also looks good. Well, red would go better with black jeans.
I end up picking out the red blouse, some black ripped jeans, and my black sandals. Not one of my better outfits, but I'm not meeting the president, so no worries.
After getting myself together and making my bed, I head downstairs. I see that my other family members have been waiting for me. Great.
"Were y'all waiting for me? Sorry."Oh god, I hate it when people are stuck waiting for me. I take forever.
"Oh no sweetie, you're fine. We were just about to leave."My mom answers. She seems honest, so any anxiety I had, went away.

It has been 30 minutes.
We are now sitting in the car, well, me, my sister, and my dad.
My mom is still in the fucking bathroom doing who knows what! She said 5 minutes, and then texted and said 10, then 20, and now it's 40.
"Dad, why is mom taking so long?" My sister whines, she has been asking that every 5 minutes. It's getting annoying.
"I don't know, I'll go in and check on her. Hold on."My dad sounds panicked, and whenever he panics, I panic.
