With all the chaos that accompanied the exams, I had no chance to talk to Hermione about what happened in the forest, nor could I check with Harry that Dumbledore did indeed carry out his promise, not that I doubted him for a second.

While, as expected, I breezed through my exams the same could not be said for some of my fellow Ravenclaws, who I had to console after almost every exam, twice as hard after Snape's forgetfulness potion practical exam. However after what seemed like an eternity the exams were over and a cheer rang through the halls of Hogwarts, shaking many suits of armour. Concluding that I could now freely engage conversation with my Gryffindor friends I went searching for them.

"Fred, George!" I called to the Weasley twins, surely they would know the location of their brother, "do you know where I can find Harry, Ron and Hermione?"

"They are by the lake, see you there." They remarked, without glancing up from their old parchment, which I could only assume to be old revision notes.

"... I think it means dangers coming" I overheard.

"Is that an insult or a compliment!" I shouted over to them, the trio relaxing in the shade provided by a well placed tree.

"Y/N!" Hermione exclaimed, "How did you find History of Magic?"

"Turns out I needn't of revised werewolf code of conduct after all, that reminds me Michael owes me Knut." I replied.

After lengthy discussions about danger and exam pressure, a bad combination, Harry jumped up like someone had lit a firework under him.

"Where're you going?" Ron barely asked.

"I've just thought of something" He replied, and explained that it was a bit too coincidental that someone with a dragon egg turned up at the same pub as Hagrid, especially considering it was illegal.

We rushed to his hut and before Ron could reply to Hagrid's offer of a drink, Harry asked about the night Hagrid won his dragon. One lengthy description later and Hagrid slipped up again.

"Play him a bit o' music an' he'll go straight of ter sleep." A look of regret flashed across his face. "I shouldn'ta told yeh that!"

We then shot off across the grounds, following Harry's lead, until we reached the entrance hall.

"We've got to go to Dumbledore" Harry remarked.

"You do that and I'll go back and try and talk Hagrid down from warning any of the teachers that he let on a bit too much" I replied.

After a long conversation with Hagrid that the four of us wouldn't try and get past fluffy, merely that we were going to tell Dumbledore about a possible security breach, which calmed Hagrid significantly, I met up with the trio in time to hear a ridiculous thought.

"I'm going through that trapdoor tonight and nothing you say is going to stop me. Voldemort killed my parents, remember!"

"I'll use the Invisibility cloak." Harry said "It's lucky I got it back."

'Luck had nothing to do with it' I thought.

"But will it cover all three of us?" Ron asked

"Four" I corrected.

"All - all four of us?" Harry replied.

After a swift explanation that he was mad if he thought he was going alone, I enlightened that I had made a list of possible defences that we may need to overcome.

"I'll grab the list from my dorm and meet you back here."

"What about Filch?! He'll be sure to catch you if you walk around without the invisibility cloak"
