PART 10

BUCKY'S POV

I woke up to a slight movement on my chest, opening my eyes to Y/N sleeping beautifully with her head on my chest. I can finally call her mine. It makes me feel all hot and fuzzy.

Small puffs of air escape her lips as she slept. She looks so peaceful. But I need to shower.
I don't want to wake her up but when you need to go you need to go. So I brought my hand up and placed it on her cheek causing her to flutter her eyes open. How lucky am I to have someone as beautiful as her.

"I'm sorry, I really need to shower" i whisper.

"It's okay, baby"

I freeze at the nickname and she did too as she stopped moving and met my eyes. I smiled at her, kissing her cheek before going to the bathroom.

When I came out, with a towel round my waist, I saw Y/N sitting on the side of the bed stretching.

"Why didn't you tell the others about us last night?" I ask.
I'm not upset about it. I just was wondering why she didn't want them knowing.

"I wasn't sure if you wanted them to know yet."

"Oh.. Can we keep it a secret for now? We can mess about with the others with it"

She smirked with me. We are such children.

I watch as she stood up and stretched again before making her way towards me and wrapping her arms around my neck. I guess she is cuddly in the mornings. Noted. I wrap my arms around her waist, careful to not touch her with my cold metal arm. This is nice.

"Can I use your shower?"

"Yours is literally down the hall" I chuckle.

"But someone will see me leaving your room and need I remind you I'm wearing your clothes." She steps back to point at herself.

"Yeah okay. I'll go get some of your clothes from your room" she nods and walks to bathroom as I leave the room.

I return with 3 pairs of shorts and 4 different types of tops. I didn't know what went together. Y/N walks in with a towel round her body.

"You're a star" she kisses my cheek before grabbing one of the many tops and shorts scattered over my bed and returning to the bathroom. Without closing the door she drops her towel and gets her clothes on. Knowing fine well what she just done. She turns to me sitting on the bed shaking my head.

"You're a menace"

"You love it"

Y/N has never been shy around anyone. I remember when she first arrived at Stark Tower. It was her first day and she already had Tony in disbelief. He couldn't even find the will power to stop her antics. Everyday I arrived there, something new was happening and it was pure entertainment. Everyone loved her the minute she stepped through those doors. She had even grown on Tony. And he's a hard shell to crack.

A knock at the door made us go quiet making me usher Y/N to go into the bathroom.

I walked over to the door and opened it to Spider-boy. Spider-kid? Spider- thing? .... Peter.

"Hey Mr Barnes.. uh breakfast is ready downstairs." He stuttered.

"Thank you Peter, I'll be right down" I smile as his eyes widen a little at my use of his first name.

He goes to knock on Y/N's door to tell her the same about breakfast.

"Uh Peter! You go eat your breakfast. I'll let Y/N know" I force a tight smile.

He nods and walks back downstairs as I shut the door again and turn around to Y/N standing their smiling. This is going to be difficult.

"Breakfast is ready. I'll be down right after you." Y/N smiles and leaves.

We feel so natural together. Like we are meant to be. This is my first relationship in 70+ years and I'm so very grateful that it is with Y/N. She makes me feel like home.

I clean up the room a little making the bed and placing Y/N's clean clothes in my dresser. We can deal with them later. I check I have my phone and have fixed my hair before joining the others downstairs.
