After spending another week in Paris with Bucky, we came straight back to Stark tower to share the news. Well I was going to make a big announcement but apparently everyone already knew. I gathered them all in Tony's huge living room very excited but quickly deflated when they all wore the same knowing smile.
"For what it's worth, I didn't know.." Peter Parker speaks up.
"That's because you can't keep your mouth shut." Sam comments making him shut his mouth.
"Steve helped me with the ring and Tony helped me out with the proposal." Bucky joins my side.
"And the wedding is on me." Tony chips in.
"Tony, no you don't have to do that." I try to argue.
"Y/N, I will only pay for a few weddings in my life and that is my own, yours, and then my own child's." Everyone's heads turn to him in shock, "peppers pregnant!" He adds making people cheer and Steve tap him on the shoulder in congratulations.
The slow night turned into a drunk celebration of two things, mine and Bucky's engagement and Pepper and Tony's pregnancy.
I walk over to the bar where Tony is standing, pouring his own drink.
"Y/N, can I speak to you please?"
"Sure, what's up?" I sit down on one of the cushioned stools.
"I just want to say how proud I am of you. You have become such a better person since you first came here, still stubborn and feisty, but such a good person. I want what is best for you and I think you have found just that," he looks over to where Bucky is laughing with Steve.
"Thank you, Tony.. for everything. You have me a family and home, I can't even imagine where I would be if I didn't have all of this." He walks round the counter to embrace me in a tight hug.
"Come on you, let's celebrate!"
