Chapter 11

Jenna’s POV

I can’t see anything my sense of sight has been taken away from me for a moment due to Calum having his hands over my eyes. “You better not peek” he says. “I swear I can’t see a thing and I’m getting kind of worried” I say while smiling widely. “Ok I’m going to take my hands off your eyes now” he says while slowly removing his hands away from my eyes. I gasp as my eyes land on the scene before me. We are on the roof of the hotel and you can see the entire city from up here, there’s a table set up in the center surrounded by candles and roses, a few feet away from the table is a tent filled with blankets and pillows. “Calum….I don’t know what to say” I stand there looking at everything he has done. “You don’t have to say anything but you may have to thank Ashton and Michael because they helped me set all this up in 15 minutes” he laughs as he walks over to the table and pulls the chair out for me. That explains Calum stopping at every floor while we were in the elevator. I walk towards the table and sit down. Calum uncovers the plates of food to reveal a steak with a side of veggies and mash potatoes. “Oh I don’t eat meat” I say as I look up to see Calum’s smile fall. “I’m just kidding” I say as soon as I see his frown. “Not funny I was literally about to throw these steaks off the roof” he laughs looking a bit relived. As we eat our meals I steal I few glances at him one time I even caught him trying to steal a glance himself. When we finish he picks up the plates and sets them aside “shall we go into the tent or do you want to talk for a bit and let the food go down?” he asks. “Let’s sit out here for a while” I say. As we look at the beautiful view we talk about our families and we share some stories too. After a while it starts getting a bit chilly so we deiced to head into the tent. The tent is a pretty decent size and there’s a bunch of pillows and blankets in it along with a medium sized portable DVD player. We both lay down in front of the TV and start watching “The Vow”. I start crying in the part where the girl forgets that’s she’s married to the guy that’s played by Channing Tantum. I turn to see Calum looking at me “yes?” I laugh. He leans in closer and wipes away the tears with his hand “don’t cry you look more beautiful when you smile” he says. I smile and turn back to the movie before I say anything stupid. The movie ends and Calum and I get out of the tent and head back to our hotel rooms “don’t worry I'll clean everything up later” he says as he see me trying to clean up the tent and table. “Are you sure?” I ask as he nods and puts his arm around me “yes you need to get you rest” he says. For some reason I got major butterflies in my stomach when he said that. We take a taxi to my hotel and even though I told him he didn’t need to he walked me to my room. We arrive to my room “goodnight I had an amazing night’ he says while looking into my eyes. He leans in and he kisses my cheek. I smile at him a bit disappointed. “I had a lot of fun too thanks for everything” I say. Calum smiles then turns to walk away “wait!” I say walking towards him. I grab his shoulder and smash my lips against his, at first he was surprised by my actions then he kisses me back. “Goodnight” I whisper while turning around and walking towards my room hoping that I wouldn’t trip due to the kiss making my knees weak. As I enter my room I scream and cover my face with my hands thinking about what just happened. After I showered and changed I headed to bed, and no matter what, I couldn’t take the smile off my face.
