The light slowly banishing away the darkness, the warm sun shining and filling the empty streets with light.

Black eyelashes slowly fluttering open, revealing ruby red eyes. They scanned the room, confused.

'I figured it would happen again....it's probably 6:00 am...' Thought Ash as he sat up looking around for any signs of what he thought had happened. He looked to his left and was greeted by the sight of a blond peacefully sleeping. The events of last night slowly coming back to him.

'My heartbeat isn't fast this time....weird' He thought as he kept looking for the signs that confirm what he knew or at least thought happened.

He sighed and ran his hand through his messy black hair. "Why don't i remember it happening...i usually do." He whispered to himself as he started to doubt if it actually happened or not, and that scared him.

He got out of the bed and walked to the curtains. He peeked outside expecting it to be dark, but instead, he was hit by a beam of light.

"Ughh..." he groaned as he quickly shut the curtains, a cold chill ran through his body.

'No way....it had to have happened, it always does..' Ash started to wonder why he couldn't find any evidence of what happens to him every night.

He looked down at his hands. Why is he feeling relaxed, why is he feeling at peace, it isn't usually like this. This never happened before. He usually jolts awake from the terror of the dark memories.

Something was up, and he hated it. He hated not knowing that something is happening that he isn't aware of. What was the reason? Or maybe....who was the reason.

Ash looked back at the bed, he saw Lance sleeping soundly, his blond hair messy and all around the place, but beautifully. His mouth slightly open, he is breathing softly. The white blanket reaching his waist.

Ash's breath hitched. He wanted to scream and run away, he grabbed his hair and clenched it.

You see, everyone handles new things differently.....some embrace it and explore this feeling and use it for good. But some, hate change, some push it away...they don't accept it and chase it away.

He looked at Lance, then down at his hands.... 'no....it's a coincidence, he just happened to be here. He isn't the reason.' He told himself as he gathered his clothes and started to dress up.

'It happened and i just forgot...sometimes we forget things that happen in the middle of the night...' He thought as he got dressed, his mind scolded him for even thinking about such things.

Us humans hate being stripped from our routine and comfort zone. If something that we are used to and do it every day, and if it gets taken away and there is a change in the routine, we freak out, the thing that gets taken away doesn't have to be good, it could be bad, but as long as it gets taken away, scares us.

Ash was scared and going crazy, mostly because he doesn't understand why.

He was done putting his shoes on and was about to walk out the door when his feet stopped moving. As if he was controlled by some puppetmaster. Why wouldn't they move?

He looked down at his feet, then turned around. He saw Lance turning in his sleep onto his back, his hair messy....images flashed in his mind....Lance underneath him panting, his blond hair is messy, sweat all over his body, his half-lidded eyes full of lust...He smacked himself on the head. Why the hell was he thinking about it.

Ash couldn't look away, his eyes softening as he looked at the blond. Was this why....no....was HE why they weren't moving?

He always left. Never once was it hard. He never cared, it never mattered to him, ever.
