The bright light of the day lit up the small bedroom causing the two lazy friends to wake up.
"Ughhh..." Groaned Aiden, "Close the blinds..." He mumbled as he covered his face with his pillow.
Ash slowly opened his eyes, the light causing him to squint, "Fine..." He groaned as he sat up, his eyes closed.
He stumbled out of bed, almost falling due to being blinded, "Fuck!" He caught himself and continued walking to the window, he closed the blinds, finally opening his eyes.
"I forgot how good it felt to see." Ash rubbed his eyes and stretched.
"Good for you," Aiden mumbled as he took the pillow off of his face, "Now fuck off so i can sleep." He closed his eyes.
Ash chuckled, "No dumbass, today we are going after the codes, we have to get to work." He said as he walked over to Aiden's side of the bed.
Aiden groaned, "Didn't you say Lance's friends are doing it?" He asked. His voice was a bit muffled as his face was covered by his blanket.
Ash shook his head, "Well yes, they are helping but today we are going to meet them." He said as he pulled the blanket off of Aiden "And it's up to us to explain everything and see if we can trust them or not."
Aiden looked up at him with tired eyes.
"You were the one who said you want to see if you can trust them." Ash said with a small smile.
Aiden sighed, "Fine, ill be down in a sec." He yawned and stretched.
"Okay." Ash chuckled as he walked out of the room and down to the pub.
As he walked down the stairs he wondered how this whole this was going to go.
Putting this in others people's hands is risky. Especially when it has something to do with his gang.
However, Ash trusts Lance, and it happened pretty quickly, he doesn't doubt who he gives his trust to, so whoever Lance trusts, so does he.
Ash reached the door leading from the rooms to the pub, he opened it and walked into the pub.
He walked towards the bar, approaching Mila who works from time to time, "Hey." He greeted.
Mila averted her gaze to Ash, "Hey!" She smiled brightly.
Ash gave her a small smile, "Can you make something for James quickly? He needs to eat something."
Mila nodded and was about to walk to the small kitchen when something came to her mind, "When are you going to let him go? He has been here for weeks and didn't cause any trouble." She said.
Ash thought for a moment, "He worked for our enemy...I don't think i can let him go." He said.
Mila nodded in understanding, "From what i see...he didn't have a choice..." she mumbled.
Ash raised a brow "Mila," he called with a warning, "Did you go talk to him?" He asked.
Mila stayed quiet looking guilty and confirming what Ash thought.
He sighed, "I told you not to go down there...but that doesn't matter now, But what did you mean?" He asked curiously.
Mila sighed, "All I'm saying is that it may not be what it seems." She turned around, "Just talk to him." Mila walked away.
Ash thought for a moment. He wondered what Mila was talking about. Ash slowly believed James but he still has hatred for him for what happened.
But he knows letting him go is the wrong choice, he may just go back to his team.
