Chapter 4

"I would love to go to the party with you Danny, thanks for asking" you say to him, his face lighting up as you do.

"I will meet you at the bus-stop outside tomorrow, then we can come here! I can't wait." and with that he kisses your cheek and walks out of the door.

" I-I-I guess il just meet travis there I guess..." you say to yourself, walking out the door and you go to catch the bus home.

*New Years Eve*

As you finish putting lipstick on and putting on your sequin, black part dress, you slide on your heels and go to look in the mirror.

"haha Danny won't know whats hit him" you say, smoothing down the dress, pausing and laughing at your comment.

As you walk across your apartments floor over to the door, your purse starts to beep and you pull out your phone.

* 1 new text from Travis * your phone reads out.

"oh god...what now" you say quitely to yourself, not trying to sound mean.

' hey, sorry if I came across strongly yesterday. I just wanted to let you know I think your really pretty and I can't wait to see you tonight. All my love Travis.'

As you read the message your heart melts. Hes nice and genuine, more so then you thought....

'oh god... What do I do now? I will just let the night play out but I HAVE to remeber I liked Danny first..' you say, grabbing your coat and walking out the door, making your way to the bus stop.

As you the bus stops by the bus stop your ment to meet Danny, you get up and walk to door and as the doors slide open, realising all the warm air inside it makes you shiver. As you step outside and look up your greated by a rose, and Danny holding it up to you.

"I could resist sorry" he shrugs and says, making you smile and blush.

As you enter the party you look around and travis isn't here yet, good.

2 hours into the party and half an hour before mednight travis appears, Danny's talking to the boys so you push your way through the crowd and go talk to him.

"hi! Bit late arnt you?" you ask him, hugging him hello.

"yeah, sorry about that. Hope you haven't been waiting all this time for me?" he winks at you, giving you butterflys.

"nah" you reply smiling and playfully nudging his arm, you gesture over to the boys and you both walk over.

After a brief chat saying hi to everyone, you go and stand with Danny.

"hiya, want another drink?" he asks gesturing over to the drinks table wich is already overly crowded.

"if you can get to the table, I'd love one" you say smiling, giving him a quick hug as he goes to attempt to make his way through the crowd.

Feeling quite tipsy and bubbly already your not sure wether another drink is a good idea but it's new years eve so, go hard or go home right?

As you stumble over to hunter and the rest of the band there laughing.

"what's so funny guys?" you yell, attempting to talk over the music.

"nothing! We're just laughing" they all reply, in hysterics.

'maybe their a little TO drunk' you think.

It's 1 minute to go and you can't see Danny anywhere and you begin to think about your new years kiss.

'it would be with him right?' you think to yourself, confused.

As the clock begins to count down from 5, there's a tap on your shoulder.

You turn around expecting I see danny... But it's Travis.

*3...2...1* the crowd yells out followed by a large cheer.

As the cheering is going on your still yet to even say anything to Trav.

Then as your going to say happy new year....

He pulls you close.

And kisses you.
