Michael was currently enjoying his phone, as he had just gotten it back. He had only been punished for a mere week; but it was enough to give Michael withdrawl symptoms.

Michael knew the main reason he had gotten back his phone was due to things were being too confusing and difficult to communicate with his parents. It also helped that his mother was a sucker for her baby boy, and was probably tired of seeing him moping around and doing nothing.

Calum: hey I'm about to leave do u need a ride

Michael looked at his phone in confusion. He quickly typed out a response.

Michael: what

A few seconds later, Calum responded.

Calum: to the party, dumbass

Party? What party?

Michael: huh?

Calum: RORYS PARTY FOR HONEY. THE ONE YOU TOLD ME ABOUT.

Shit. Michael had totally blanked on that one. He didn't even have a present for her!

Michael: OOH

Calum: JEUDSU CHRSIT

Michael: yeah I need a ride lol

Calum: I'll be there in like 7 minutes be ready

And with that, Michael quickly raced around his room, grabbing anything that smelled halfway decent and trying it on.

Michael found his dad's old Motley Crüe band shirt that Michael had personally ripped up to make cooler. The best part? It was clean.

He threw on a black SnapBack and his leather jacket before rushing to the top of the steps. Immediately he rushed back, throwing open the top drawer to his dresser, and shoving his emergency weed down his pants.

"Mom!" Michael yelled as he rushed down the stairs.

"Mommy, I'm going to Calum's, is that okay?" Michael asked, trying to sound as innocent as possible. Fuck, did I really just call her 'mommy'?

"Michael," his mother sighed, turning around to face him while she sat on the couch. "I'm going to call Mrs. Hood to see if you're actually going to be there!" She warned as she stood up from the couch

"Sounds good." Michael smiled, knowing it was just another empty threat. He walked over to her and placed a kiss on her cheek. "Love you."

"I love you too," Michaels mom sighed, resting her hand on her sons upper arms. "Be safe."

"I always am." Michael flashed her another smile before practically sprinting out the door at the sound of a honk that could only belong to Calum's piece of shit car.

Michael recognized Rory's house immediately, and directed Calum to the house in the middle of the Cul-de-sac.

"Dude, no ones here!" Calum groaned, pulling up in her driveway, that had one other car in it. Ashton was already there.

"Well, that's expected, considering it hasn't started yet." Michael pointed out, unbuckling his seat belt and getting out.

"And you're sure it's okay if -"

"Yes, Calum." Michael rolled his eyes. Calum had only ever met a few of Michaels school friends, one of them being Ashton. "Rory said I could bring whoever I wanted."

"Okay, okay!" Calum laughed, running his hand through his hair. "Just making sure."

Michael knocked on Rory's large wooden door, peering in through the small windows at the top.
