After Dahlia's coversation with Nat, she went into her room, and laid on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She stayed like there for a bit, thinking, before completely zoning out. Disassociating.
She stayed like this for what felt like a little bit, but in reality was around 4 hours. Loki had spent those hours in his room, next to hers, thinking. Not dissociating, but actually thinking. Worrying a tad bit about the sudden rejection by Dahlia. Was she tired of him? It was sudden. It was...scary.
After those three hours had passed, Tony Stark had arrived, along with a teenage boy, Peter Parker. His aunt, May, had also come along to drop him off, along with his aunt's boyfriend, who also happened to be Tony's secutrity guard, Happy.
Dahlia didn't know much about Tony, apart from the fact that he was filthy rich. She also knew he was the son of Howard Stark, who she had met when she was forced to be apart of the research for the supersoldier serum. In other words, Dahlia wasn't a particularly big fan of him. Not that she'd really spoken to him, but still.
Natasha knocked on Dahlia's door, before opening it. "Tony's here, living room. Bring the other gods." she said before walking away, leaving the door open.
Judging by Nat, it seemed she believed Dahlia to be a god, which she wasn't. she figured humans assumed all the asgardians were gods. she didn't care enough to correct the redhead, so instead, she forced herself to get out of her bed, walking out the door before walking just to Loki's door, and quietly opening it.
"Loki?" she called out, fairly silently, and he looked over at her from his spot on the bed.
"Yes?" He responded, softly, looking over at her with hopeful eyes, as if he was expecting her to tell him why she'd shut him down earlier."I was told to bring you and your brother to the living room. Could you fetch him for me?" Dahlia asked, and she could feel the disappointment in Loki. That wasn't what he'd wanted her to say, and once again she felt that absolutely debilitating guilt fill her when she met his eyes.
"Of course." Loki nodded, and before he even had the time to stand up, Dahlia had started making her way to the living room, away from him, away from her best friend, leaving him with this dirty feeling that he'd done something to her.
Dahlia stood awkwardly by the door as she watched the room. Tony was sat on the couch, next to Natasha. They stopped talking when Dahl came into the room.
Tony flashed a quick smile at her. "Dahlia, correct?" he asked, and Dahlia spent a quick moment tapping into their minds. They'd been talking about her before she came in, that's why they stopped talking. Their vibes towards her were still good, however. They hadn't been saying negative things.
They were probably pitying her.
Dahlia nodded to confirm Tony's question. "You're...just gonna stand there?" he asked, when he realized the girl wasn't planning on sitting down.
She just nodded again. Tony became a little bit uncomfortable by this. She could sense it. "Alright..."
"Tony!" Thor beamed as he entered the door, hugging Tony and pulling him up from the couch in the process. Tony hugged back at first, before trying to get out of the hug, forcing out the words 'you're squashing me-' before Thor, oblivious as ever, let go of him.
Loki stood in the entrance of the door awkwardly as he watched his brother hug Tony. He looked uncomfortable, and he was, but it usually wasn't as visible as it currently was.
"Did you bring the phones?" Nat asked Tony once he sat back down on the couch, brushing himself off.
Tony rolled his eyes at the russian before pulling a phone out of his pocket. It was a high tech, Stark phone, almost indestructible and the best one currently available. "Here-" He got back up with a sigh, and took a few steps towards Dahlia, before handing her the phone. She took it, and held it in her hand, looking down at it like a big questionmark.
