"Miss? Miss?" A small voice makes it's way to my conscience and I groan pushig my head deeper into the soft material so I can block it out. I try to find my way back into a dream full of Tarver and his sweet kisses. "Miss you are gonna be late if you don't get up now."

"Five more minutes mom please." I beg her because I don't feel ready to face the sad truth of reality right now. No response appears and I furrow my brows before I snap them open and stare into big brown round eyes.

"Oh my god!" I yell out surprised as I slide back and bang my head against the wall. "Ow." I wince and hold my head- wait our walls aren't this hard? "I am so sorry Miss Katherine are you alright?" My eyes focus themselves on the small person in front of me to realize it's not my mom and not my small room I'm usually sleeping in.

Lucy is ducked down in a blue maid's dress as she looks at me worriedly her hands gripping on a light blue fabric. "Sorry my brain needs to start working for a second." I say confused as my eyes scan the high walls and the expensive looking chandelier. Right the casting.

I slowly sit up and look down to see me wearing the silk dress my maids dressed me in last night when I came back from the meet up. I push the duvet aside and swing my naked legs over the bed while Lucy rushes to put my clothes for the day on the chair. "I could leave your hair half down today if you want. Rose made this beautiful short flower dress for you." She says and I groan.

"A dress again? Can't I wear some pants sometime?" I ask her because it makes me feel so stupid to wear a dress. Like I'm some doll that's just here for the royal family's entertainment. Which isn't particularly wrong. Lucy turns around suprised as she looks at me. "Why? It is an honor to wear such beautiful dresses." She says and I can't help myself from smiling. Lucy seems to be the most kindest soul I ever met she sees not one bad intention in someones actions.

"I know but they don't need to. I'm fine with a pair of jeans." I say shrugging my shoulders. Her mouth opens perplexed and I chuckle. Lucy is a beautiful girl I wonder why she's working at the palace, such a young girl has to have a family somewhere right? She's probably not older than me.

"Should I ask..?" She asks confused and I shake my head smiling at her. It's not her fault that I need to wear dresses and she probably won't move anything if I ask her to do it. My bedroom door opens and we both move our heads to see Anne walking inside. She stops when she sees me sitting on the bed still and a scolding look builds on her face.

"Why are you still in bed. You have fifteen minutes to get ready until the breakfirst with the royal family. I don't think they would welcome it if you'd be late." She says in a stern voice and I quickly get up. Anne has that motherly sternness to her that you have the feeling you don't want to disappoint her.

If I would get ready at home I wouldn't even need fifteen minutes but it's different here. "Sorry." I mumble and get rid of my silk dress so they can fit me into the new dress. I'm still a bit cautious and uncomfortable with showing them my body but it's no use to be embarassed I have to get it over with anyways.
