" You shouldn't get up and go anywhere without telling someone to escort you. If Alpha finds out your toast."

Currently I was laying down back in my room with Colt lecturing me about my safety. I was getting alittle fed up because hes been going on about the same thing for the past fifteen minutes. I know that it was a spare of the moment move, but i had to do something to get my mind off Andrew... He didn't understand!

I threw my head back groaned into a pillow. Now he stopped talking. I was wondering if it was the end of his lecture when the pillow was yanked away from my face.

"Hey! What the hell was that for Colt?! Give it back!"

"Nope! Not until you tell me where you went." Colt says with a smirk.

I crossed my hands over my chest and made a pout with my lips. Why should I tell him. Its not any of his business what I do.

He sat down on the bed beside me and sighed. I know hes worried about me. I can tell. It feels good to have someone care about me after so long. I guess I owed him at least that much, I was grateful to have such a nice friend.

"Fine! I went to see Mark..." I hesitantly looked up at him. He looked at me sternly as if saying, what did you do?

"Don't worry, I didn't do anything bad. I just talked to him. Were on good terms now. He forgave me and everything."

"So, is the rematch off?" Colt asked with a hint of hope. I felt bad that i was going to take that away. I lost all hope in everything, I had no hope left.

"No, there was nothing he could do. The Alpha commanded it. He can't back out on an order." Colt frowned, his brightened eyes lost hope. I once had hope too. Colts eyes turned white.

Mind Link... Alpha, maybe?

"Is everything okay?" I asked him once his eyes came back to their original color.

"No there are a group of rouges spotted on the border of the pack lines close to where you were found. Its a large group of maybe twenty. I need to go out there with a group of warriors and take them out, try to capture a few while were at it and figure out what they want." With that h got up and head straight for the door.

"Colt!" I say before he walks out. He turns slightly and looks at me." Be careful okay?" He nods and runs out.

I couldn't help but worry for all the wolves going out there. Rouges never travel in huge packs like that. Its very rare. It suddenly made me think of my home when it was attacked. All the souls that were lost.

Would anyone still be alive out there? Did anyone happen to escape?

I suddenly started to break out into a cold sweat and my heart beat was increasing. I felt the lack of air from my lungs and I struggled to breathe. I was in a panic.

What was happening to me?

My throat started to squeeze, it felt as if I were being choked to death. I tried to get out of bed but my limbs were numb. I couldn't feel anything and it only felt like my heart beat was still increasing at a rapid pace. I broke out into a fit of coughs and with all the strength I could muster rolled out of the bed.

Something was wrong with me. I needed help.

I fell on to the floor with a thump. I'm sure my ribs would have been protesting but I couldn't feel a thing. I tried to crawl m way towards the door when My skin felt as if it were ignited on fire. I clawed at my face and body as if it would get rid of the pain.
