I'm Yours

Chapter six

        "Okay, I did some x-rays from your mid-abdomen down, just waiting for the results. They should be done in about a few minutes or so." Clara said, writing up some information on a clip board. "I have some questions to ask you if you don't mind."

        I really looked at the doctor for the first time and she looked extremely young. She had bright red hair and beautiful blue eyes. She seemed so humble and caring i immediately felt bad for the way I reacted to her earlier. I would apologize later.

        "No I don't mind really." I tell her laying back on the hospital bed with my hand over my abdomen and one arm behind my head.

        "Okay. Its just standard procedure and since your new here I don't have any of your medical records, so i need to do a physical really quickly while we're at it." Clara looked down at her clip board. "Your name?"

        "Cormina Endrson." I replied clearing my throat.

        "Age?"

        "Eighteen."

        "Do you know your height and weight?" Carla asks scribbling.

        " I believe I'm five foot nine inches and i weigh 125 pounds." Clara continues writing.

        "Have you experimented with any types of drugs or alcohol beverages within your life time?"

        "No I haven't."

        "Now i don't want to make you uncomfortable but have you had any type of sexual intercourse yet?"

        I blushed a bit before I answered ? "No i haven't."

        "Okay thank you, do you have any type of medical history in your family? Cancer? Diabetes? psychological?"

        "Nope healthy as a horse." I say looking down into my lap. As she mentioned my family I felt my heart clench tightly. I miss them so much.

        "Okay I'm just going to draw some blood Cormina." Clara takes the IV she has on the side of the hospital bed and ties a rubber elastic band around the top of my arm. She then slowly but quickly inserts the IV needle into the vein after she finds it and takes out about four tubes of blood from my arm. Clara cleans up and walks away with the blood and to get the x-rays.

        I sat back on the bed and tried to get comfortable. It was a bit difficult since my ribs were wrapped and still throbbing, even with the pain killers. My cuts and bruises have been cleaned up well enough, My boy feels like its just gonna fall apart ,really to just sum it up.

        My mind drifted to Andrew and what happened earlier outside. I've never felt anything like that before. My body was literally felt like it was on fire. It felt like there was no one else on this planet. He made me feel that way. I smiled but quickly frowned. He treated me so coldly after word though. This thought made my heart want to clench. Was I just really not good enough for him?

        Clara cam back with the x-rays in her hand and then looked at me. " I have good news and bad news, which do you want first?" She asks me.

        "Good new first please." I say to her.

        "Well the good news is that because you a werewolf you healing much more quickly than any normal person would have. If you didn't have that advantage you could have ended up paralyzed because of tension on your spine." Clara briefly pauses and looks at me to see if im still following her words." Bad news is that even though  your going to heal much more quickly that a normal human, because you were severely injured by such a high ranking wolf, you won't be able to walk or move on your own for some time. A normal person would take a few months to heal were as you would take a few weeks. So you need to be on bed rest and under constant surveillance." She says.
