Chapter two

I Jumped up to the sound of screams and rummaging in my room.

I looked up to see my father frantically throwing my favorite sweats and shirts and some underclothes in my big travel bag.

"Daddy? Whats going on ? What are you doing?." I could sense something was wrong I heard more screams outside and jumped up.

"Daddy? whats going on ?" i asked a bit more frantic.

He was about to open his mouth when my mother came running in with wads of cash. It looked awfully similar to the emergency cash we kept in the safe in case of an attack.

Suddenly i felt nauseous and very pale.

"Sweety listen to me." said my father stroking my cheek he was slightly shaking and his eyes looked wild." Were under attack" 

I knew it .I let out a shaky breathe. "The rouges, there are so many of them maybe over four-hundred of them our already crossing the border into the pack territory. This isn't any ordinary attack. They're after something... They're after ,YOU!" MY heart skipped a beat and i felt tears in my eyes. Our pack is small Maybe Just one-hundred members there was no way we could win. But my thoughts were jumbled.

Why did they want me?

"Hunny, you have to run away before they come any closer to the pack house." my mother said tears running down her face.

"No,No,No! i wont leave you, come with me!" I look at them frantically. They looked between one another and dad shook his head.

"We have to stay here and hold them off." I looked between them desperately pleading with my eyes . This can't be happening.

Just yesterday we were all having breakfast together laughing and now I might not ever see them again. NO!

My dad walked to my desk and scribbled a couple things on the sheet of paper.

"These are some this you need to remember hun, the first thing , the name Cyrus Grenwood. The second thing, you need to research the prophecy of the two tail wolf, you'll understand all of this soon. The last thing you need the know is another name, Nathan Trizer." they both pulled me into and embrace. My heart was slowly shattering. i was so confused and scared.

I may be alpha but i was still a girl.

I was balling my eyes out and my dad slipped the paper in my bag.

"We love you baby girl. We always will, forever." I clung to my mother for dear life as my father kissed my head.

I hurried and put on my favorite black vans not bothering to tie them, and put on my travel bag that my dad held out for me, Then we wordlessly yet quickly made our way out of the pack house. 

Dad mom and I ran to the edge of the woods together which was supposed to be my escape route.

"This is as far as we go baby girl" My father said barely above a whisper. I could see the pain behind his eyes. i could see he was trying to keep his cool for mom. Tears sprung to my eyes again.

"Daddy please, I don't wanna be alone" I whispered staring at nothing yet everything.

My mother gave me a small smile and kissed my forehead" we will always be with you baby" she took off the special necklace that was only meant for Luna's to wear to show they were claimed and dad slipped me a photo of all of us on my six-teenth birthday. 

I quickly slipped them in my bag, and i was about to tell them i love them when mom collapsed on her stomach, an arrow sticking out of her back.

I stared in horror as my mother slowly drowned in her own blood. I've never been afraid of my father but the way his facial features changed and the scariest snarl escaped his mouthit scared me very much, he almost looked pshyco.
