Chapter #3 - Apologize.

Kaito turned around, to see..

A group of people stood there, presumably Kokichi's family. He recognized one of them to be Mikan, Kokichi's older sister. "Hello Mikan, and.." He didn't recognize who the other two people were. "Sorry but, I don't believe I've met you two before?" Kaito asked them. "Hello there dear, we are Kokichi's parents." One of the parents, an older woman, replied. "We came here to pick up Kokichi after we heard he'd gotten in a fight. But, we would like to know who he got in a fight with." Kaito didn't want to come forward and admit it was him, so Maki did it for him. "Actually, that person is right here." She said, pointing towards Kaito. "Ah.. well, you see-" Kaito tried to explain his actions, but was cut off. "Young man, do you not have any respect for your classmates? Saying something like that can really hurt their feelings, especially after what happened to all of you!" A man, presumably Kokichi's father, stepped forward and yelled at Kaito. "D-Dad.." Kokichi tried to stop his father. But, it didn't work. "Dad..!" He tried again. Again, his father didn't listen. "DAD!" Kokichi yelled, finally getting his fathers attention. "You can stop, okay! I'm not a little kid, I can solve problems myself!" Kokichi said, angrily. His father was speecheless. Seems like this was the first time his son finally spoke up for himself. "Woah woah woah, what's going on here?" Rantaro said, running into the room with Shuichi. They looked messy, but nobody paid attention to that at the moment, as they were focused on the situation at hand. "Nothing too special. In fact, me and Kaito were just leaving." Maki said. "W-we were?" Kaito asked, dumbfounded. Maki glared at him, hinting for him to follow her. "Oh- OH! Yeah, Yeah! We were just leaving, hahaha!" Kaito immediately ran after Maki, who had already left the dorm.

After Kaito and Maki had left, Kokichi's parents left, and Mikan returned to her classmates. They bid farewell and left the three remaining students alone. "Hey, Kokichi, are you fine with going back to your dorm, or do you want to stay here for a bit?" Shuichi asked him. "I.. think I'll just go back." He replied. "Alright, be safe out there." Rantaro said. "I will! Just don't go make out when there's a fight going on~!" Kokichi teased. He shut the door before they could react. 'Psh, who do they think they are? Making out when there's a fight going on? Hell, maybe they were going to do even more had father not made such a fuss! Hehehe, they're so obvious, I can't believe it.' He thought to himself, while walking through the hallway, over to the part where his and Kirumi's dorm were.

"Ah, Kokichi, there you are. I was starting to get worried." Kirumi said, relieved. "Don't worry mom, I just stayed over at Shuichi and Rantaro's dorm! They took good care of me!" Kokichi playfully replied. "Don't jest with me, I saw what happened in the chat." Kirumi said, as she was used to being called mom by Kokichi. He didn't reply to what she said. Instead, he tried to change the topic. "Did you know about Rantaro and Shuichi?" He asked her. "What are you implying?" Kirumi didn't know about the two. Actually, most of their classmates didn't. "Well, when there was something going on in their dorm, they weren't even there! Instead, they were in the kitchen, or, eh..." Kokichi paused for a moment. "..Whatever, God-knows-where! Anyways, they were making out or something like that, their clothes and hair were all messed up when they got back!" He ranted. "Kokichi, you know it's not very polite to speak of others without them being present." Kirumi replied to him. "Yeah, yeah, as if it matters, mom!" He rolled his eyes. "Now, could you perhaps assist me in hanging our clothes?" As Kirumi said that, Kokichi had already moved to his room. She sighed. 'There he goes. Extremely unhelpful. Guess I'll do it myself. Again.'
