Never been a fan of crowded areas. And I surely never thought I would be back at Taylor's house. I make my way through the crowd, looking around for some blond highlights.
"Fancy seeing you, here," I turn and see Kyra holding a drink.
"You know for someone who doesn't like me, you sure appear to interact with me a lot," I glare at her. I know why Kyra doesn't like me, but I'm not going to let that get to me.
She shrugs, "As I said, we can fight all we want, but it's important for me that we play and come back with a title. I'm not going to let our feud get in the way of a trophy or getting recruited. If your looking Luke, he's over there." She walks away.
My reason to avoid her is the fact that she's interested in what I once was. It's more shame on my part.
Someone bumps into me. Before I fall over, they grab me, holding me up. I yank my arm away from the person.
"Woah," They chuckle.
I look at their face; recognize faded freckles. I say stunned. Blake?
"You look like your doing good," He smiles. He looks the same as ever, same soft smile, bright aura, and same blue eyes.
I clear my throat," Yeah." I ask before I can stop myself "What are you doing here?"
He looks at me surprised, "Enjoying the party?"
Embarrassed I look glance around, " No, I mean, what are you doing here? I thought you moved?"
"That's one way to greet someone," He takes a sip of his drink. "I came because I thought you would be happier to see me. Luke told me you'll be here, so I decided to come. I guess I was wrong."
I give him a blank stare. "You were going to leave without telling me. If Luke hadn't told me, you would've left. I know I am hard to deal with but you were knocking down my wall for what? to walk out of my life and just appear again when you wanted to?"
"I wasn't trying to walk out of your life, I just thought it was time to give up," He looks at me cautiously.
"It may seem like I don't care if people leave, but I hurt too. I'm not just-"
Blake grabs my wrist as he guides me upstairs. He looks into a bedroom, dragging me inside.
"Let go of me!" I pull my wrist free once we're inside.
Blake sighs, " Abby when I said I thought it was time to give up, it was because you obviously need space. I don't ever want to force you into anything you don't want to. I've liked you since we were sophomores, but with your parent's accident, I didn't think it was a good time to tell you anything."
My eyes go wide, "How do you know about that?" I never told anyone. I barely even told Luke not too long ago. No one should know that.
"When you broke up with Taylor, he mentioned it," He recalls. "Abby I never tried to walk out of your life. I just thought maybe you didn't want me in it."

"Truth or dare?" Kyra asks Hector.
"Dare," he crosses his arms.
"I dare you to jump into the pool with your clothes on," She smirks.
"You're on!" Hector makes his way outside and jumps in the pool.
He later comes in running around like a mad man. The last time I played truth or dare was back when I didn't know Luke and was still friends with Lura.
