In a blink of an eye, I went from eye-level view to my body lying flat on the floor.
"Jess get off. I need to breathe."
With my head still pounding I try and get her off.
"I love you, love you so, so much," Jess says in a babyish voice. This means one thing. I drop my shoes and gear on the racks and walk toward the dining table.
"Well, aren't you late?" I cold voice says without looking up. It continues sipping tea and reading a book.
A classy man, with business apparel, is in the kitchen. Anyone would be freaked out to find a classy man here.
"Had a good day at school?" He doesn't look but keeps on reading a document.
"It was fine. What are you doing here?" coming out a bit annoyed. He slowly closes his eyes for a minute.
" It seems I can't come back to my own home." He picks up his cup and sips some tea. " Does she know?" He asks pausing before setting down his teacup.
"I don't know what you're talking about?" I say as plainly as possible.
He sets his cup on its plate and stops reading his document. He stares ahead looking at nothing in particular, "I wouldn't answer like that if I were you. You know I hate dumb answers. "
"You're not me," I look at him with all my guts.
"I'll tell you what. I won't tell her," He sips more tea, " but next time watch your words." He looks at me, "deal?" I nod forcefully. He grabs his document and heads towards the living you, "smart girl."
Brian White. That is the man Peyton decided to marry. He's very classy. He never talks to me and I know he tries to avoid me as much as he can. He's not a fat man, but he isn't fair in appearance either, he always seems to be hiding something. I lock the door to the room Jessica, and I share and drink some of the pain kills Lura bought at the convenience store. My head hurts like crazy.

"How's the face?" Lura leans next to my locker. I turn my sides ways, to show my whole face.
"Flawless". I close my locker. "Hey, why did you get moved to a different physics period."
She lets out a huge sigh and looks at me, "Well, truth be told I have not been attending my morning classes, so I told them about my car and then decided the best way to make up the missed classes was to move my schedule around."
"Bummer," I mumble.
"Well, excuse me. You can at least sound more depressed," she gives me a sassy head bobble.
I let out a small giggle, "What?" I find Lura staring at me.
"That was the first time I've seen you giggle in a long time." Lura's voice slowly trails away. My smile fades, "You know how it is. Life sometimes just sucks."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I find a table on the left side of the cafeteria and put my stuff down. My eyes are tired, and I still have a bruise from that time Peyton came home finding me with a hangover.
"You know, you'll end making it worst. " The new kid sits.
"It's already as bad as it can get, No?" I respond.
He shrugs, " Where's everyone?"
I stare at him for a while, "obviously not here."
"Really, I thought you're where their official table picker?" He opens his water bottle.
