Chapter 15

*Jasmyn P.O.V*

It's been a week since Chrishai got out the hospital. She was really strong, she started walking on her leg and everything. Not much but I didn't have to help her as much. I was going to go over her house tonight to check up on her. She had the kids today and I knew they were all happy. For some strange reason, they thought Chrishai was goin to die, even after we both assured then she wasn't. I was at the office, since I handed my cases over, I had nothing to do really but attend meetings. 

"Your 1:30 is here." Danielle spoke over my intercom, I left it open for her to speak freely but she couldn't hear me. I pressed the button and responded.

"Ok I will meet them in Conference  room 2" I said as I gathered my things together.

Within 5 minutes, I was in the conference room, my new client was turned towards the floor to ceiling windows that created amazing lighting for all of my conference rooms. Even my office had featured these windows but 2/4 of my walls were glass windows that extended from the top of the ceiling to the bottom of the floor.

I cleared my throat so I could get my clients attention, I didn’t know the person I was meeting quite yet because Mr. Llamas from Beauty Enterprises cancelled at last minute so I was meeting with one of his associates.

The Chair swung around, and I gasped. I haven’t seen her for a minute, she was my first girlfriend ever. We just didn’t work, I felt like it was mostly my fault since I was such an asshole.

She smiled knowingly, she was still innocent. I could tell. I sat myself down on the table and walked around the table and hugged her.

“Hey” I said breathlessly

“Hey” She said smiling so beautifully

She was still beautiful. I saw no ring on her finger and I smirked. Maybe I could have some fun, I did tell myself maybe I needed to kick it with a female again.

"How you been?" I asked after we pulled away

"I been good, how about you?" She said smiling

She was making me feel some type of way with her smiling at me like that. But that's how it's always went, I have a crush on her then I just got... bored or uninterested. I tried for so long but now with these feelings for Chrishai it was like any past crush, lover... wasn't shit.

I shook my head, to rid my thoughts, Chrishai didn't want nothing to do with me. I smiled, "Hey Morgan, you want to meet for dinner later tonight?" I asked charmingly

She got that look, and I smirked She could never tell me no after I put my charm on though. "Jasmyn, I don't kno-"

"Please" I said as I poked my lip out, I saw her face weaken and I smirked.

"You know that face does not wo-" she began but I cut her off once again

I grabbed her arm and pulled her towards, I know for sure she was gone say yes. For some reason when I touch her it's a different story. "Please" I said laughing

She joined in my laughter, "Sure"

I grinned and moved to the other side of the table so I could hurry up and get this meeting over so I could go home and get ready for tonight. Morgan started laughing because she probably knew why I was in such a hurry to get this meeting over with now.

$435,814 gained later, a Renewed Contract, Date acceptance, and a Summary of sales, the meeting was finally over. It was now 3 o'clock, our dinner was 8. Which gave me 5 hours. Throughout the whole meeting Morgan and I flirted so I knew she was just as excited for tonight as I was. I couldn't help but grin the whole way back to my office. Danielle looked at me weirdly but she didn't say anything since she was on the phone but I knew she would try to grill me later.
