I looked up at my dorm ceiling in silence as many questions circulated through my head. Was this the only university that had supernatural creatures in it or was there more of them?
Could I have been drawn here or was it merely coincidence that I set foot in a university that had a supernatural presence?
I sighed knowing I would probably never know. I pulled the covers of my bed off myself and slowly got up. I looked over to my desk and saw the stack of homework that Josh had me do a couple days ago.
I cringed slightly at the memory while opening the backpack that sat against my desk and pulled out some classwork that needed to be done.
An hour later enough progress had been made to make up an excuse to stop.
Since there was no class until Monday and it was only Saturday there was some time to burn. However, there really wasn't much for me to do since I had burnt a lot of bridges recently.
I decided that roaming around the campus would be better than looking up at the cieling and waiting for the weekend to end.
I exited my dorm room and peeked over to Josh's room noting that the room was completely empty.
I then noticed taped on the wall was a yellow sticky note that read:
Goodbye.
I sighed peeling off the note and threw it in the trash before leaving my dorm room.
About ten minutes later I found myself in the main square of the university.
A couple stray students were walking around for what I assumed was their Friday classes. One person looked in my direction for a moment and then kept walking reminding me that I stuck out like a sore thumb.
I stood there, looking at the palm trees moving from a gust of wind , before I decided to head towards the clubs location.
I mean it wouldn't hurt to check right?
As I made my way towards the club I began to come up with a way to apologize to the club members who I had only known for a brief period of time.
I didn't really expect them to be there since they don't meet on Fridays, but there wasn't much I could about the situation with Kaitlyn without their help.
I eventually made it the front of the club room only to find it locked as expected. I turned around and sat down on the floor to think.
I really wanted to apologize for what happened to Kayn since I hurt him but I had no choice. I also lost the chance to gain information on what has been going on in the university.
I ran my hands through my hair stared at the club room for a bit of time.
"I just need to let it go for now and hope that I can talk to Sofia and the others soon" I mumbled to myself silently and sighed.
Then in the distance I could hear the sound of someone approaching the hallway. My gaze moved towards the rooms nearby but there were no classes in session.
The footsteps drew around the corner to reveal Sofia carrying a small stack of papers. Her gaze wandered towards my location and widened.
"Q-quinn what are you doing here?" She said while hesistantly looking around. I got up and walked closer to her causing her to step back.
"I came here in the hopes of apologizing to at least one of you and to find out what is going on in this university" I said in a serious tone.
She frowned at my response. Sofia was clearly not happy with had happened recently.
