Chapter 4

JAMES'S POV~

"James, I'm scared of Al now." Tess said with tears in her eyes. I took her over to the couch and she sat on my lap, her head on my chest.

"So am I. I knew he liked you but I didn't know he liked you that much. How do you feel about him?" I asked her.

"He's like a brother to me. You on the other hand are my best friend, I never thought of you as my brother. I've had a crush on since I was 10. When I saw other girls look at you in a flirty way, I felt something bad in me. I finally realized what the feeling was, jealously." She said looking into my eyes. I smiled at her and Mum, Dad, and Lily came back into the living room.

"Did you guys know about Al?" Tess asked.

"Yes. But we didn't know how much he liked you. We thought it was a tiny crush. He never got the courage to ask you out. We all knew that James really liked you, it was obvious when you weren't around. And we also all knew that you really liked him too. We all took bets as to when you guys would get together. I won because I guessed the summer before you go into your second and third years." Mum said with a smile.

"Your Mum and I are going to find Al. Lily, do you want to go with us? We'll go to get ice cream with Al after he calms down and we find him." Dad asked.

"Yes please. As much as I love James and Tessy, I don't want to see them snuggle." She said wrinkling her nose. I laughed. "Uncle Fred?!"

"Yeah?!" He replied.

"When is dinner going to be ready?" She asked.

"In about 2 hours. Don't eat too much ice cream. Aunt Angelina is going to be bringing a couple desserts when she gets here with Roxanne and Seth after work and so is Aunt Katie." He answered. Aunt Angelina is Uncle George's wife and Roxy and Seth are our cousins. Aunt Katie is Uncle Fred's wife and their kids are Mary, Kaycee, and Blake. They are also our cousins.

"Ok. See you later!" Dad said. Then they walked out the door with Lily.

I looked at Tess. "So, what do you want to do? We could always watch a movie. How about X-Men?" I asked her.

"Sure. I might also take a nap." She replied and climbed off my lap.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To the bathroom. Be back in a minute." She said smiling at me and I put the movie in.

TESSA'S POV~

I came back from the bathroom and James started the movie. I sat next to James and snuggled into his side and he put his arms around me and I put my head on his chest. I started watching the movie but then I fell asleep.

DREAM~

I was in a field of grass and all I saw was green. I heard a rustling behind me so I turned around. Standing there was a boy around 15 years old with brown ruffled hair and red eyes. His face was twisted into a glare aimed at me.

"Hello? Who are you?" I asked.

"You don't know who I am? Haha. I can't believe the great Harry Potter didn't tell you what Tom Riddle looked like. I look just like my father before he became all powerful. My father is Voldemort. My name is Tom Riddle the third. I will do what me weak father couldn't, kill all Mud bloods and to kill the Potter bloodline." He said.

"JAMES!! HELP!! WHERE ARE YOU!! JAMES!!" I screamed and Tom just laughed at me.

"He can't hear you. You're stuck with me Princess. Come to me and become all powerful. Become my wife and I won't have to hurt you." He said holding out his hand. I decided to run the opposite way.

"Tess!! Wake up! You're dreaming! Wake up!" I heard James yelling but I couldn't find him. I closed my eyes and wished to see James.

"Tessy! Wake up. Are you ok? Tess?" I heard James say. I opened my eyes and saw James and Uncle Fred looking at me with worried eyes. "Oh Tess! You were screaming and kicking. What happened?" He said and I clung to him.

"I saw a boy around 15 and he said he was Voldemort's son, Tom Riddle the third. I'm scared. He wants me to marry him. I ran away and looked for James and then I heard him. I closed my eyes and thought of James and then I woke up. He wants to kill all mud bloods and the Potter bloodline. All of you." I said and started crying clinging to James.

"Shh. It's ok. He can't hurt you now. I have ya. I'll always protect you." James said soothing me and rubbing circles into my back. I stopped sobbing and hiccuped. The door opened and I saw Aunt Angie, Aunt Katie, Blake, Roxy, Seth, Mary, and Kaycee. Along with Mum, Daddy, Lily and Al. They saw me and they ran to me. James explained what I said as I clung to him not saying a word.
