Friday eventually came we went out to the pub meeting my friends at a table set for 12

Me and Alan went to order the drinks when my parents walked in, I ran up and hugged them, when my mom hugged me she held me a little to tightly hurting my arm

" nothing I just hurt my arm a few days ago"

We sat down and waited for my untie and uncle to arrive along with Derek, Alan was getting the second round of drinks when Derek walked in
" guys this is our doctor and friend Derek shepherd"

" hi Derek what you ordering"
" oh erm give me a sec"
Derek walked over to get his drink and Jess turned to me instantly
" ok what hospital does he work at St McHotties"
" You like Derek"
She started to blush

Derek and Alan walked back over with the drinks trying not to spill anything
" so Alan erm how's the plays going"
" really good mr Morrice thanks"
" yeah, he played Romeo in the end of assessment play didn't you"

" what I'm just saying, I thought he told you he was moving to England as to not break your heart but erm Romeo that would have ment kissing another actress right"

My mom walked out of the bar in a rage
" I'll go talk to her"
" Alan are you sure that's a good idea"
" like I said I want to start a fresh start I don't want anything coming between you and your family"

Alan's POV:
" Mrs Morrice, Nadine can I call you Nadine"

" look I know that I may have not made the best first impression when me and Ellie first got together but I swear I only told her that I was moving so that she didn't get hurt"
" I know you didn't mean to upset anyone but you have to understand my baby moved to the other side of the world, I had to have somebody to blame"
" can we start a fresh"
" your marrying my daughter I guess I'm going to have to talk to you at some point"

My POV:
Alan walked back in with my mom and gave me a smile, we all laughed and at the end of the night we all said goodbye to each other apart from Derek and Jess who were going for more drinks. When me and Alan got home we talked a lot
" Well Jessica seems to like Derek"

I woke the next morning to a loud bang at the door, Alan was still asleep so I got up and answered the door. It was Jess
" aaaaaa, my head is fucking throbbing"

" will you keep your voice down Alan is sleeping"

" are you still drunk"

" ok can I ask where is Derek"
" oh he went to get ready for work"

me and Jess were interrupted by the sound of spewing coming from our bedroom

I shut the door and walked Into the bathroom

About two hours had passed, Alan had managed to get breakfast down him without spewing it back up. We were watching tv when there was another knock on the door.

As I pulled open the door I saw my sister and Noah.

" hey Lois, Noah how's it going"
" good how's the plays going"
" good yeah erm Noah how's that series your filming"
" yeah well we've had to stop at the minute but they should be back up and running by Christmas"

" can I get you guys anything"
" can I have a coffee thanks Ellie"
" yeah I'll have the same as Lois thanks Ellie"
" Alan you want anything"

I walked into the kitchen and got some drinks and came back into the living room
" so where you guys staying then"
" well we actually don't know we thought we'd just book a hotel"
" don't be stupid we have an extra room you guys can stay here right darling"
