13(Is the Baby Due?)

Luke's POV
I woke up in a strange cold place until remembered that I'm not at home. ugh. I'm doing a little business trip in California for some photoshoots & promos for the CMA's, since I'll be hosting it with Blake again this year for the 3rd time.

I got up to make me some coffee when my phone rings.
"hello?"
"Ok, good your awake....." Kerri answered back
"......I though you would sleep through the whole morning. we need to be at the warehouse by 10:30 am."
"Well, i don't know you if you know but I'm jet lagged coming from Tennessee to California. it's a 2 hour difference so I would of been up a while ago but I was tired from the plane so that's what made me sleep a bit longer."
Then I took a sip of my coffee.
"I know, I am too. but just get ready soon. I have your suit with me, be ready in 25 mins."
"Why? What time is it. I thought we need to be there by 10:30?" I took another sip
"It's 9:30 am, Luke"
I spit my coffee causing me to cough viciously.
"Oh My God, Luke are you ok?!!"
Cough, cough, "yea" cough "I'm good" cough cough cough "coffee just went the wrong way."
Then I did a final cough & cleared my throat.
"Well, I slept longer than I thought."
I chuckled
"You bet your ass, you did......" Kerri chuckled.
"......Now go get ready & stop wasting time, I'll buy you your Starbucks to go."
"Ok, thanks Kerri."
"No problem, Luke. bye."
"Bye."
I hung up my phone & went to take a shower.

After my shower I checked my phone & saw a had 4 missed calls & 6 messages from Desi.
Oops I forgot to call her.
I dialed her number as I put the phone between my ear & shoulders as I got dressed.
"Oh my God, Luke, you scared me that you weren't answering me."
"I know baby, & I'm sorry, I just woke up a while ago when Kerri called me & told me to be ready in 25 mins & it turns out I over slept so I'm rushing right now to get ready."
"Wow, Luke, always the Late & lazy one." she chuckled
"HEYYY! No I'm not!....."
Then there was a pause, I knew she was doing the "are you kidding me right now?" face
"....Ok a little...." Another pause
"......Ok,ok, I admit it that I am the lazy & late kinda guy. yet I hate it when other people are late. I don't understand myself." I chuckled, but Desi wasn't answering.
"Desi?"
"Are you still there?"
"Baby, please answer me?"
I looked at the phone to see if she hung up but we were still connected. bad service?
No I had all my bars.
"Desilou, if you don't answer me right now, I'm flying over there in a heartbeat"
"I'm still here." Desi answered
I sighed heavily when I heard her voice.
"What happened? You had me scared."

Desi POV.
"I dropped my phone & It went under the bed so I had to go get chevy to pick it up for me plus Hunter is being a brat today." I lied
Iv been have pain & my backs been hurting but I never let Luke saw it or else he wouldn't of gone to California for the promos.
"Oh ok, & that dog is going to get hit with some sense in the head when I get home."
I giggled "he is only 2 1/2 months old Luke, get him a break."
"Fine, I guess your right."
I was holding onto my right side & I wanted to scream but not with Luke hearing me
"Well, I'll let go now honey, so you can finish getting ready."
"But......"
"No buts, Luke. now go finish.bye"
Groan "ok, bye, I love you & my boy."
"We love you too." I said as sweetly as possible.
Once we hung up I grabbed a pillow & screamed into it & loud as I could.

Luke POV
So we finished the promos & are half way through with the photoshoot. we are taking a break in the break room, everyone was in here laughing & having a great him. Blake, Miranda, Tim & everyone one else laughing their asses off.
The sudden ring of my phone caught me off guard, it was from Mama. What does she want? She knows I'm in California. I excused myself I went to the backstage area where nobody was.
"Hello?"
"LUKE! YOU NEED TO COME BACK!!"
"What why?! What's wrong?! Where Des......." But I was cut off by a scream/groan
Thats Desi, what's going on.
"She's going into labor, Luke. You need to come home."
"I'm on my way." I said as I hung up & called kerri.
"Luke, where are you? We are about to.....
"Kerri, I need a plane running to Georgia when I get to the airport fast!"
"Oh My! Is everyone ok?!"
"Desi is going into Labor." I said as I hoped into a black SUV to take me back to the Hotel.
"Ok, I'll tell everyone else what's happening cause they are all running around a head-less chickens looking for you & I'll get you your plane daddy-to-be." She said excitedly
"Thank you Kerri."
"No problem, well bye, so I can get to work."
"Ok, bye." as soon as a hung up we were in traffic but only 6-9 buildings away from the hotel. you can spot the hotel from where we were. I opened the door.
"Sir!? Where you going? We are almost there."
"Sorry Steven, but this is an emergency & I need to get my stuff, just meet me in the front to take me to the airport." he nodded as I closed the door. I started running to the hotel dodging people, bike-cyclists , skateboarders, joggers, & cars. once I made it, I ran inside.
"Good evening Mr. Bryan."
"MMHHMMM" I said as I took the stairs because the elevators were to slow.
I noticed I did the wrong decision because as I got to level 6 I was tired as a hound dog. so I just went up the elevator, & luckily nobody was in it.
