02 (Daddy-To-Be)

Desi POV
It's been a week since Luke finished his tour. I'm still so happy to be back home. I missed it so much it ain't even funny.

So right now I'm at the store grabbing a few things cause Luke has been sick like crazy. Throwing up & having fevers one day then all of a sudden he is fine & always snacking! He's never been like this.
It's so weird.
But the thing is I think I caught it cause I've been throwing up too but no fevers. thank god cause I hate having a fever.

After I paid I got into my truck & left towards home.

When I got home, I noticed a car there. A car I didn't recognize. Who the hell is here?
I killed my trucks engine off & grabbed everything I got at the store & headed inside.
Then I heard talking coming from the kitchen.
I went up stairs quietly & settled everything on the bed. then I walked into the kitchen & to my surprise it was Amy & Carter & Luke talking. (They married on the same year as us, yea they only dated for like 2 months but when you found the perfect one you know you got to marry them)
"OMG! WHY DIDNT YOU CALL ME SAYING YOU WERE COMING!" I voiced as I hugged Amy.
"Cause we wanted to surprise you guys."
She said as we released the hug. They live in Georgia so they come every now & then.

& we finally found a new house!!
It's a Two-story Modern Country style house with a pool & a Jacuzzi in the back. So much room in there. We will be moving in there in about 2-3 weeks after all the paperwork is settled.
Luke will still have his Studio & man cave/Hunting room & every other room too.
I'm so excited to move.

Amy & Carter stayed for a few hours then headed to the house they have up here when they visit, which is Carters old house.

Once they left the driveway I saw Luke dart up the stairs. then I heard him throwing up. aww my poor baby. I feel so bad. I went up stairs, into our room & into the bathroom, seeing Luke bending over the toilet with his eyes closed breathing in & out. I walked over to him & rubbed his back. soon once he finished he washed his mouth & we got ready to I go to bed.
Today was just a bumy day.

-some time at night-
I got up & ran to the bathroom & throw up whatever I had for dinner.

Luke's POV
I heard DESI throwing up. I checked the time & it was 3:27 am. I went to the bathroom to help her out. we both been sick & these meds we are both taking aren't helping, I think we need to see a doc. I talk to Desi about it in the morning though I'm to tired now. After desi was done washing up we went back to bed.

-Next Morning-
Desi POV
I woke up tired as always since I've been throwing up. Last night was horrible, I woke up about 3-4 times to throw up. I've talked to Amy about this on the phone once, & I think she was right about one result. My jeans don't really fit anymore & I have been getting weird cravings but just ignored most of them. This morning, before Luke woke up, I headed to the bathroom. I bought a pregnancy test when I was at the store yesterday. As I stand in the middle of the bathroom watching my timer on my phone count down from 5:00 mins to 0:01 sec I get nervous as it ticks down.
Soon the timer beeps & I grab the stick but covering our fate of being parents. I know Luke wants to have kids but I don't know if he wants some now. I'm so worried.
I take a deep breath & uncover my hand.
There's a big solid noticeable "+" sign on it.
I smile widely as ever. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!! how am I going to tell Luke though? Will he be excited as I am? Does he want kids right now?
Then I noticed why he was throwing up & having fevers. His body sensed the same effects of being pregnant. His body knew I was pregnant before we even knew. I remember my mom telling me that my dad was the same when she was pregnant with me & I even saw my dad being sick when my little bro was coming along.
My dad never gets sick, he has a very strong metabolism, so it was very odd for me to see him sick.
