08(Going Back Home)

Desi POV.
I woke up to this morning with pain. really bad pain. oh man. this hurts. I have to go to the doctor to make sure this baby is ok. I tried getting up but I couldn't it just hurt even more.
Call mom, came into my mind.
I grabbed my phone & dialed my moms number.

"Desi, it's 5:30 in the morning. & your just right acro......."
I screamed from the pain.
Then I herd feet running into my room.
"What's going on?! Are you ok?!"
I couldn't talk I was in pain.
"I don't know.........." I whimpered & breathed heavily while holding onto my stomach.
"....... What's wrong........ I'm just.......... in so much..................PAIN!" I screamed again.
"David we have to take her to the doctor!"
"I got the car running" my dad said as he ran in.
"Can you get up?" He asked
I shook my head no.
I haven't had pain in this entire pregnancy time. what is wrong.
"I have to call Luke."
"NO!" I screamed with frightened all over my face.
My dad carried me bridal style to the car.
Soon my mom came in the car with my phone & a charger.
"Thank you."
"no Problem, but why don't you want Luke to know? He is the father to that child your carrying." my mom said as my dad sped to the hospital. "Because I just don't" I snapped through my teeth as I was clenching them from the pain.
what's worse than getting stuck on a red light? Red & blue lights flashing behind you. Thats what.
The officer took his sweet time to get to the car.
"IM ABOUT TO RIP THIS OFFICERS HEAD OFF IF HE DOESNT HURRY UP!" I screamed in pain.
I'm guessing the officer heard cause he came running over.
"Is everything ok in here?"
"Ummmm.....welll.......ummm....." my dad was nervous & so was my mom.
"IM A 3 MONTH OLD PREGNANT LADY THATS IN FUCKING PAIN YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!!" I yelled & then screamed in pain again.
His eyes got wide.
"Ok, follow closely behind me. I'm taking you to the hospital." he pointed at my dad.
My dad nodded.
Then the Officer started speeding away & so did my dad right behind him like the Officer told him to.
"That's it I'm calling Luke. he has to know."
"NO!!! MOM PLEASE!!! I don't want him to come home yet. he still has 3 1/2 weeks until he comes home." I cried
"I'm going to do it. it's only necessary. he is the daddy & he has the right to know what's happening."
I gave up. I'm not going to win anyways.
We finally made it to the hospital & emergency staff where already outside waiting for me.
That lovely officer called them, thank you. I don't want to wait in the waiting room.
They helped me out including the Officer. then he finally knew who I was.
"Your Luke's chic."
"Yes, that would be me." I said in a more sincere tone of how I acted with him before.
I moved in the wheelchair in discomforted. "I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier."
"Don't mention it, my wife was the same." he chuckled
Then they took me to a room & the officer stayed, which was pretty weird.
I cried in pain a few more times.
Then the doctor came in with a whole team & an ultrasound machine & blood test tubes.
They took blood & did an ultrasound & took the pictures to another room along with the tests.
After an hour later.
"The baby is fine, Mrs. Bryan." the doctor smiled. I sighed a huge sigh in relief. thank god.
"Then what is all this pain?" I said with a scrunched up face from a bit of pain coming along.
"Your having a contraction. nothing to serious though, we will give you some epidural for the pain & we will keep you over night to check on you & first thing in the morning if everything is well you can go home." The doctor smiled & left.
The officer is still here, but he looks oddly familiar.
"Don't you have to go back to work?" I asked not trying to be awkward or rude.
"You don't remember me do you, Desi?"
He chuckled.
That chuckle it's familiar too. NO WAY! No it can't be! Can it?!
" Officer Smith. Danny Smith from....."
"Elementary to High School! OMG THATS REALLY YOU DANNY?!" He smiled
"Yup."
Danny Smith mine but mostly Luke's Best friend in elementary, & was in our squad back in high school. He was the lazy one. nobody thought he was going to graduate, but he did. & nobody thought he was going to become anything but a bum. look at him now!!
"COME HERE & GIVE ME A HUG!!"
He chuckled. "ok"
he got up & hugged me. I tightened the hug.
"So Luke, finally got the balls to ask you Huh?" He chuckled & I blushed
"Yea." then a nurse came in with the meds. she hooked it up to the IV that was already connected to my hand.
"This is going to make you drowsy in about a few hours, so you will sleep for a little while."
"Ok."
After she left me & Danny went back to talking.
"So, your married now?" I asked
He laughed/huffed
"Yea, 4 yrs this year."
"Wow! Who's the lucky lady that got this side of Danny?" I smirked at him & he laughed.
"The same girl that got this other side of Danny." he smiled
"Samantha? High school girlfriend?!"
I asked shocked. while he nodded.
"yup. we were together for another 4 yrs through collage & in our senior year, I couldn't take it anymore, so I asked her to marry me & of course she said yes." he smiled, flashbacking to the memory.
I smiled, "kids?"
His smile grew wider "baby boy."
"Awww, how cute!! What's his name? & How old?"
" Dylan, & he is only 1 week old."
My mouth dropped. how adorable!
"I'm sorry but I can't picture you as a married man with a 1 week old baby boy! It's just not possible from what I grew up with" I chuckled. & he laughed "oh, believe me, I get those thoughts all the time. I never thought I would ever settle down & have a child of my own."
"Wow, I just......wow!" I exclaimed in shock.
