Family road trip-part 2

Billie's Pov

"Ew what is that smell," Mila says pinching her nose. "wasn't me!" Alex defensively raised both of her hands.

"It was me," Emily says giggling "Roll down the windows!" Mia shouts as the smell takes over more of the car. I pinch my nose too and roll down the window. She may be four but her farts stink like hell.

"You aren't allowed to eat burritos anymore," I say looking back at her from my seat. She just smiles and laughs evilly.

"Guys we're almost there can everyone please just hold in their farts until then!" Mia says to every in the car. We all agree and the rest of the ride was quiet, aside from Emily singing a random Disney song every now and then.

We finally got to the hotel and I booked the penthouse so we could have our own space. "Everyone grab your bag and walk to the front desk. We'll be there in a second," we got an 'ok' and 'bye suckers'

They close the doors and I let out a sigh rubbing my temples. Mia puts her hand on my thigh and I look at her with a pout. "Mama you're too stressed about something that's supposed to be fun," she says now rubbing my thigh "I know, I know. I'm sorry. I just want everything to work out and that shit that just happened with Mila is fucking with me."

She grabs my chin making me look at her " I know. It took everything in me to not go all 'my mom' on her" she sighs " But.... I know you want everything to be calm and stress free so I'm going to do everything I can to keep things in order. Okay?" I smile leaning to give her a kiss. "Thank you," she just taps my nose and gets out of the car grabbing some bags.

I help and we walk into the hotel to see Alex sitting in a chair on her phone and Mila with her hand against Emily's forehead who was trying to swing at her.

I roll my eyes walking over setting the bags down picking up Emily. "What did I tell you about hitting your sister," I say sternly. She just lays her head on my shoulder not answering me.

She gets extra bad when she's tired. I hope she takes a nap so I can finally relax. "Okay guys come on I got the room key," Mia says grabbing a bag heading to the elevator.

I throw myself on the bed closing my eyes for the first time in eight hours. I got Emily to sleep and Mila and Alex went down to the pool.

I feel the bed dip beside me and a hand massaging my waist. I open my eyes to see Mia laying next to me with her eyes closed. I move closer, practically on top of her and pull the blankets over us. She hums kissing my head still rubbing my side.

I let my body relax in her touch feeling the exhaustion take over me finally falling asleep.

" Dora! Boots! Come on dora! D-d-d-d-d-dora D-d-d-d-d-dora D-d-d-d-d-dora D-d-d-d-d-dora. Dora Dora Dora the explorer. Who's that super cool exploradora? "

I groan as the annoying song fills my ears. I sit up leaning against the headboard as Mia comes out of the bathroom. "I got up two episodes ago, you're lucky," she says pointing her finger at me.

i laugh shaking my head and she joins me on the bed laying her head on my lap. I scratch her head with my nails and she hums enjoying the massage. " Did the girls come back yet? " I ask. "Yeah but they wanted to go to this little game thing they were doing for the kids," I nod

Suddenly, the door busts open and I see Jahseh with Mila clinging to his leg and Alex on his back. "Look who we found!" Mila shouts excitedly. "Holy shit Jah! What are you doing here!" I say as me and Mia get up from the bed to give him a hug.

He squeezes me tight then does the same to Mia. The girls separate from him and Emily runs to him and he picks her up and gives her a hug, then sets her on his hip. "I'm just taking yume and jenesis on a 'lil family vacation."

"Uncle Jah we're on vacation too!" Emily shouts. " That's awesome mama. You gonna go swimming?" " Yeah! I got my floaties," Jah laughs and gives her a high five.

"We was actually finna go to dinner. You guys wanna come?" He asks. "Are you sure we wouldn't be intruding or anything. I don't wanna mess up your family time." He chuckles and rolls his eyes playfully "Billie you are my family. All y'all are, you wouldn't be messing up anything."

I smile "Okay then yeah, we'll go. What time," "Seven. I'll text you the place, I gotta go get changed, I'll see y'all there." We give him one last hug as he leaves.
