Tw: Death

Logan stood at Remy's locker, pecking his cheek. "You should go meet that Virgil kid outside. It seemed like whatever he needed to say was important."

"You sure Love?" Remy closed his locker and leaned on it, facing Logan.

He nodded. "Yes, I'm sure. I'll just meet you at my car and we'll leave, okay?"

"You'll get me Starbucks?" He asked like a kid asking for a toy or pet.

"Yes, I'll buy you Starbucks," he rolled his eyes.

"Yesss. I love you," Remy kissed his cheek. "See you, Amor" He smiled, running off outside.

Logan watched him go, a small smile on his face.

Virgil stood against the wall on the front of the school. Remy ran up to him, waving.

"Hey~ Virgie." He chuckled. An old nickname for old friends.

Virgil jumped slightly at the voice but relaxed when he realized it was Remy. "Uh, hey, Rem.."

He giggled softly. "So, what's up?" He hummed.

"About Lane, uh.. There's something you don't really know."

Remy looked at him confused. "Yeah? What's going on with her? I mean, I know we haven't been talking as of late. So how's she doing?"

"Remy, Lane's gone," he said quietly.

"Like on a vacation. I mean can't she drive? So she's on a small vacation." Remy questioned.

Virgil took a breath, fidgeting with his hoodie sleeves. "No, I mean that she's dead."

Remy stared at him for a moment. "Virgil... You're kidding right?" He chuckled nervously.

"No, I'm not," he shook his head. "Believe me, I wish I was."

Remy scanned Virgil, tears forming in his eyes "W-what? She's..." He trailed off.

"Yeah," he nodded. "I'm so sorry, Remy."

Remy's tears started falling. "But, she was fine like two years ago... What happened?"

"Uh," Virgil froze for a second. He hadn't exactly come up with an excuse yet. "Car accident," he decided.

"Sorry for bringing it up, that's stupid of me," Remy mumbled, pulling Virgil into a slight hug.

Virgil shook his head, hugging back for a moment before pulling away. "It's okay."

"It's not, but fine." He looked at him.

"Look, I should get home. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

Remy nodded. "See ya." He smiled sadly.

Virgil gave a small smile before walking away.

Remy took another shaky breath, before speed walking to Logan's car.
