Tony's POV

"Tony, come look at this." Bruce spoke distractedly from his place where he was hunched over his microscope.

He moved over so that I could look through the microscope and my brows furrowed.

"What are those?" I was talking about the yellow floaters that were growing rapidly within the dish.

Bruce had poured some of the contents of the water bottle into a dish so that he could see if it was laced with anything. And alas, it was.

"It's Surilicide. It's a new form of poison that causes the victims to literally puke up their own blood, until they are completely drained of it." Bruce rolled over to the other side of the bench and pulled up a screen and typed a few things out.

"Is there a cure?" I was genuinely worried that this girl would die and we wouldn't have an opportunity to discover how a psychopath's brain worked.

"If we can flush the poison out as quickly as possible, and then give her a blood transfusion." Bruce was already up onto his feet, and was headed out of the door.

"Are we not even going to brush over the fact that reindeer games actually might care about this girl?" I tried to talk to Bruce, but he just speed-walked back to the hospital room that Y/n was in.

Bruce got to work as soon as he entered the room, and I asked Wanda and Thor to leave the room to give Bruce some space. Loki, however, refused to leave.

"How about I make you a deal? I'll let you hang out in the living quarters with the other team members while Bruce takes care of Y/n. Does that sound like a deal?" I was really pushing it here.

I mean, letting a criminal just out into the other team members' space? Even though I practically loathe the guy, he has in fact come a long way ever since he first came here, especially since Y/n arrived.

"Fine. But I will be the first one back in here when she wakes up." He made his point by pointing at Y/n passed out on the hospital bed.

*****

Just as I suspected they would, the other team members were uneasy about having Loki roam free. The only person who wasn't on edge, was Thor.

Before I left the room to go assist Bruce, I confronted Wanda to make sure that Loki didn't have any dark thoughts roaming around free in his head. She confirmed that he had nothing but worries for Y/n inside of his head, and that put me at ease as I walked back to the medical wing of the tower.

Loki's POV

I stood still in front of all of the harsh gazes of the Avengers. I put my hands up slowly as a sign that I didn't mean any harm, and a few left the room to continue on with whatever they were doing before I came only the room.

"You have my word that I will not try anything." I spoke boredly, and searched the minds around me, looking for a map of the tower.

I finally found someone who had seen the blueprints, and I made a mental note where the library was, before announcing to Thor where I was headed.

Your POV
*A few hours later*

I'm so tired. The brunette that I know knew as Bruce Banner, pumped my stomach with the help fo a female doctor named Dr Cho, and then I got a blood transfusion.
