You walked around the hospital, occasionally checking your phone in your pocket. You couldn't help it, you had Song-yi promise to call you often during her 'raids'. It was one of the first times she was out with a bunch of other hunters that were most probably much more stronger than her. Not to mention you remembered Jin-woo saying something about also having a lot of raids.

You shook your head, no way they were related somehow. It's a big world. But suspicion nipped at your mind. Even if it was a big world, what are the chances of two players of the system being in South Korea? Probably close to zero. But technically you were from America so did it really count?

"Good afternoon, doctor."

You swivel around, smiling when you see a familiar face. "Hello." You greet.

The man smiles. "You don't remember me, do you?"

"I do." You insist, stepping up to him. "I just... forgot your name."

Surprisingly he lets out an easy smile. "That's somewhat wonderful." You tilt at his words when he takes off his tinted glasses and extends a hand. "Hi, my name is Woo Jin-chul."

The smile you constantly wore faltered slightly at the full appearance of the man. No doubt he was attractive with the glasses, but without it was like a whole different world. You cleared your throat, reminding yourself to take his hand.

You couldn't tell if it was his or yours that were clammy. "Hello Mr. Jin-chul, I'm Oh Eunha."

"Would it be rude if I asked for you to drop the politeness?" He asks and you have to press your lips together to control your facial features.

"No, not at all." You tried to make it seem that you were indifferent, but it truly made you gleeful. It was strange, you were never particularly interested in anyone. But something about Woo Jin-chul made you a little more curious than necessary.

"Then Eunha," He begins. "Can I t-"

A beep of your pager cuts him off. You sheepishly take back your hand and he gives you an understanding look. You don't even have time to grab your pager when you hear the familiar alarm.

"Code Blue! Code Blue!" The alarms rang.

You barely had time to wave goodbye to Woo Jin-chul when you sprinted off. The man watched as you ran off, sighing slightly as he placed his sunglasses back on, carefully holding the hand he shook yours with.

"What's going on?" You stumble into the patient room, the nurses gathered around moving away.

"She's going into cardiac arrest. It's not uncommon for someone under eternal sleep to have underlying heart conditions while they're in this state." Yu-ra tells you, her eyes serious, she squeezes the ventilator.

You glance at the patient vitals, cursing under your breath. "Damn it, someone page Doctor Moon. The patient has to go under surgery now."

"He..." One of the nurses hesitates.

"What is it?" You snap.

"He's not in the hospital right now. He left for lunch two hours ago." The nurse mutters quietly.

"Prepare the OR and continue to page him or another surgeon." You clench your jaw. "And talk louder."

"But you're not authorized for any surgeries." The nurse exclaims.

You warn her with a single chilling look and she timidly cowers back. You glance at the patient, her name just barely visible to you on her chart. 'Park Kyung-hye'

"I'll take responsibility for anything that happens."

You step out of the chilly room, the outside feeling much less stuffier than the inside of the OR. At the corner of your eye you see a particular doctor conversing with several other suited people, rubbing his hands with a filthy look over his face.

You ripped the surgical mask off, storming to the man.

"Oh? Miss Oh, you finally came out." Doctor Moon smiles, a greasy looking thing. He turns to the suited men. "This is the young girl who recently went under unauthorized surgery."

"Miss?" You seethed. "I am a doctor. Please address me as such." You turned to the suited men, ignoring Doctor Moon and bowing down to them in respect. You barely acknowledge the doctor. "The patient lived, by the way. I'm at least confident enough to remove a blood clot."

The man sputters as you storm away. You step into the elevator, punching the closed button ten times more than necessary.

"Doctor Moon?" Yu-ra asks.

"I hate that short old man." You simmered. "Inexcusable. The scent of alcohol was wafting off of him so much a child could get drunk by just smelling it."

"At least you get to tell the guardian that you saved her instead of that hypocrite." Yu-ra tries to lift your mood, handing you a contact page. "By the way, that hot Hunters Association guy stayed through almost your full surgery before he told me that he had to leave."

Your brow twitched. "Okay?"

"You dumbass!" She yells, gripping the collar of your scrubs. "He is totally, completely, one thousand percent into you. He even knows that I'm your friend."

"Friend is stretching it." You mutter loud enough where she heard. But, as Yu-ra was, she blatantly ignored your comment.

"Call him. He gave you his number right? Please? For me? Puh-lease?" She whines.

You rolled your eyes, stepping off of the elevator when the doors opened wide, despite the fact that it wasn't even your floor. You ignored Yu-ra's distant shouts as the doors closed, flipping through the patient file and the guardian contact.

Your eyes widened when you realized that the patient was a mother of two children, her husband had disappeared as a hunter years ago. You couldn't help but feel a little giddy that you finally could say the words 'the surgery was a success'.

"Oh, Doctor Oh, is that the contact information for the guardian of your patient?" You look up to a nurse pointing at the papers in your hands and you nod. "I already contacted their guardian for you and told them the results of the surgery."

You immediately deflated, letting a heavy sigh leave your lips. The nurse sputters out apologies, instantly understanding your inner pain.

"I'm so sorry. But he said that he would still come by to visit." The nurse says and you immediately perk up.

"Oh really?" You grin. "Good work, Nurse Kim."

The nurse smiles, a little uneasy but she bows as you leave, waving at her and thanking her to be your new source of serotonin.

You happily hum as you pull out your phone, digging through your pockets when you finally find the small card with a short 'aha'. Punching in the numbers, you press your lips together as you send a short text, knowing that Yu-ra would've stolen your phone and texted him herself.

You: Hello~ This is the doctor!

Embarrassed, you turn off your phone and pretend to forget about it. But the moment you look up the giddy look on your face wipes off. You stare at the familiar man standing in front of you.

The former S-ranker himself smiled. "Do you accept walk-ins, doc?"
