Chapter 7

"Looks like you miscalculated the timing of raining...." Mina wiped off the droplets from her face while side staring at Jihyo. "I'm not that perfect in Math either." Jihyo took some towels from the toilet at the lobby and threw one to Mina, where her soulmate caught it perfectly. "Maybe that's why you lost one mark in you high school test every year." Mina smirked before heading to her room with Dahyun looking all beat after getting caught in the sudden storm. "Shut up." Jihyo clenched her teeth, leaving them in giggles before turning to Tzuyu and Chaeyoung who were resisting the sudden cold. "Here, dry yourselves clean before heading to shower. "Jihyo handed them both a towel each, where the two of youngest muttered a thank you lowly before going to their rooms specifically. The supposedly to be leader of the group then wandered around searching from a certain duo, until she heard a shriek coming from the kitchen. "Oh my god it's freezing! I am undergoing brain freeze!" Momo surpassed dolphin in terms of screaming as she reached a whole new level when Jeongyeon used ice pack to press on her forehead. "Mind telling me what happen a couple minutes ago?" Jihyo leaned against the refrigerator door while looking at Momo blankly. "It happened in just seconds. I was trudging along the road behind Tzuyu and suddenly I fell forward without warnings. It was so dangerous that I almost face-palmed a stone so I dodged it, and hit my forehead." She was shivering while talking about the fantastic story about how she fell down and avoided being hit by a rock, Jihyo and Jeongyeon was absorbed into her story.

"Well, Sana pushed you accidentally, of course you'd fell." Nayeon came out from the kitchen with another ice pack, she has not been able to dry herself properly from the sudden storm since her first priority was to check on Sana and Momo who fell on the muddy road on their way back, her tracksuit was dripping tainted rainwater and Jeongyeon took notice of it. "She did?" Momo asked lightly since the cold from the storm is unbearable. "She told me she tripped on a twig that was flowing with the mud, and she wanted to hold onto something, but she pushed you instead, so both of you got the main prize today." Nayeon slowly sorted out the truth, signaling Jeongyeon to change the ice pack. Momo's teeth were clenching hard, she could feel blood backflowing around her body when the new ice pack touched her forehead. "I'm totally throwing her into the dumpster afterwards." She threatened Sana while walked off towards the staircase, the trio came to a result that Momo went off to search for Sana who escaped to her room to shower off the mud. They watched Momo disappeared from the staircase and returned back to stare at each other. "Now what? There won't be any activities for us since it's still raining." Jihyo sighed, collapsed onto the bar stool where Momo just sat. "We could throw a party here, like food party?" Jeongyeon suggested, folding her arms which were dampen by the rain. "Impossible, we don't have enough ingredients here to host a party." Nayeon withdrew Jeongyeon's idea while shaking her head.

Jihyo frowned, took deep breath and sighed again. "Guess we'll be doing nothing for the afternoon then." She mumbled before heading to the lobby, grabbing another clean towel before disappearing in front of Nayeon's and Jeongyeon's eyes. Nayeon roamed deeper into the kitchen, fidgeting around the cabinets and cupboards as if she is searching for something, the shuffling sounds made Jeongyeon followed behind her. "I think, you need to shower first instead of searching something like kitchen tools? You will catch a cold, you know?" She watched Nayeon squatted down, opening and closing the cabinets, the water trickling down from Nayeon's cheek and her tracksuit worried the younger one. "I will, after preparing what we need for dinner." Nayeon insisted, pulling out the kitchen tools that she might use and Jeongyeon on the other hand just hold onto them automatically. "Isn't it still early for dinner?" Nayeon glared back at Jeongyeon, who was confused of the sudden treatment. "Did you forget I was going to bring you to see the moonrise afterwards? We can't be late." Jeongyeon gasped, putting the tools aside and clapped her hands together as a sign that she remembered after Nayeon reminding her. The landlady gave a sinister smile before heading to the refrigerator where Jeongyeon followed behind her again. "Since its around 9pm, we may have to head to a suitable spot at 8.15pm. But how are we gonna sneak out?" Jeongyeon pointed out an issue that Nayeon left out.
