Ground floor, Polaris co-op
Some time had passed and it was already mid-July, everything was peaceful and full of progress, the girls had finished their works beforehand without any sweat and they were all chilling in the living room every night. Throughout the whole two weeks, the girls found Jeongyeon and Nayeon had been very weird with each other lately. They were attached, apparently, but not in the way of bear-hugging someone, it was like they were tied together with string. "What do you girls think?" Chaeyoung asked when Nayeon and Jeongyeon were away from the couch. "I think of my shirt that you spilled coffee on a few days ago." Dahyun grumbled. "I think.... think of.... uhh..." Sana sounded sleepy as she tried to communicate. "That was not what she meant!" Momo cut in before Mina was about shares her opinion. "She was asking about that two people." Her voice lowered as she nudged her head to the kitchen where both Nayeon and Jeongyeon went off.
"What are you all spilling?" Jihyo just finished her meeting and came back from the dining area, she was holding some homemade flower tea that Nayeon brew this afternoon. "Saw anything weird while coming over here?" Momo turned around to grab the headrest, she seemed strangely interested in the topic. "It's only just the two of them getting some snacks ready for us, while waiting for our daily drama series. Nothing weird." She shrugged while falling on the couch beside Tzuyu, who were dozing off. "You girls should just leave them be." Jihyo suggested as she set her phone aside to prepare for the drama. "They just keep appearing in my sight," Mina turned to Jihyo, her hands reaching out to receive the tea Jihyo brought. "Almost everyday." She added after tasting the drink. Then, there were a few pair of eyes staring at Mina.
The sudden response from Mina piqued interests in some of the girls, which actually shocked her."So, they basically appear at the same time everyday?" Momo rubbed her chin like a detective would. "Don't you all think it should not be a coincidence for that?" Dahyun joined in the fun. "Appearing together and disappearing together....." Chaeyoung had dived too deep in this topic as she did not notice both of her targets had returned. The other girls except Sana and Tzuyu turned away from the only blonde in the house, leaving her mumbling any opinions she just hatched. "Are you mumbling something?" Nayeon first asked, taking the empty seat beside Momo. Chaeyoung who was mostly calm actually felt fire under her feet for the first time, however she instantly regained her composure by seconds. "I was just saying how terrifying my artwork is! That's all." Then, Jihyo was spotted trembling with covered laughter by Jeongyeon, who helped Nayeon carrying the bowls of snacks and placed it on the coffee table.
"Is something fun going on?" Jeongyeon found herself a seat beside Nayeon, which the right side of hers is the armrest. "No, nothing. There's nothing fun waiting for the drama to start. Screw ads!" Jihyo stopped her laughter and folded her legs, hugging them to stop the laughing tremble while avoiding Jeongyeon's questioning gaze. The familiar introduction for a Korean drama begun to play, and everyone in the room were all tensed up. "Wake up! The drama is starting!" Dahyun who was seated the closest to Sana on the floor, and Tzuyu on the couch woke them up while the trailer for the drama was showing. "Oh yes! What will Hye Ja and Joon Ha do?" Sana lifted her head from the couch, grabbed a handful of fish crackers while waiting impatiently. "I'm sure they're going to meet up each other, and then heal each other as the time goes on." Mina took some of Sana's fish crackers instead of getting it for herself. "I don't think it's easy as that." Tzuyu pouted and reached out for the mixed Pocky sticks.
The loudness and intensity toned down when the drama finally starts, everyone were focused and did not say anything at all. "What do you think about them?" The volume of the drama had overwhelmed Nayeon's voice while asking Jeongyeon about the main characters in the episode. Jeongyeon took a glance at her, she knew Nayeon retreated before meeting her eyes as she saw her orbs drifting back to the drama. "They both experienced tragedy, and they say the same repulse each other," Nayeon's fingers that were playing with her hair strands stopped momentarily, she knew what Jeongyeon will say next; Things may go south if they couldn't recognise each other- "But I'm sure they will recognise each other." Jeongyeon bent forward to snatch some of strawberry-flavoured, bear shaped cookies from Chaeyoung. A pang of surprise, and the drop of heaviness in her heart slowly bubbling into warmth, which she found herself drifting away from the drama.
