Ground floor, Polaris co-op

August, things are going slower and lazier in the house after the Olavsoka festival, they were enjoying their life to the best. Those who work, work. Those who nap, nap. "Hey, pass me the cookie jar." Momo was lying on her front while tapping something on her tablet. Dahyun and Chaeyoung who were watching a black and white old film turned and stared at Momo simultaneously. "Who you calling for?" Chaeyoung hastily wiped off the cookies smudge on her face. "Yeah, which one of us?" Dahyun snatched some cookies from the jar, the bottom can be seen visibly. "Any of you two could've just pass me the cookie jar!?" Momo was taken aback. They were still staring at her, jaws still moving to chew the cookies. "Okay, fine." She got up to her feet and took the jar away, back to her seat.

"Where's Sana?" Jeongyeon came down from the first floor, holding some plastic bags that were light, but full. "She's out because of an urgent work, she asked me to tell you about it." Nayeon was beside Momo, legs crossed as she watched her playing some games on the tablet. "Are you in a hurry?" She noticed Jeongyeon wandering around restless, her expression all tensed up while looking at the plastic bags helplessly. "Kinda, I need Sana's help for this one." Jeongyeon lifted up one of the bags, some visible, colourful string like bundles can be seen from the cover. "Maybe I can help with this one?" Nayeon had one of her leg touching the ground, she was about to spring into action to help Jeongyeon. She glanced and met Nayeon in the middle, she pulled her gaze back for some reason.

"O-oh, no. It can wait." She double checked the contents inside the bags, hastily tying the ends of the bags up and fled upstairs just before Nayeon can reach her. The landlady stood in the middle of the living room awkwardly. Adding this up and it will be the fourth. Nayeon frowned, Jeongyeon has been acting strange after their almost-incident during Olavsoka festival, it brought her attention to it since Jeongyeon does not ignore someone for no reason. "Nayeon-ah, your turn." Momo called out. "....Coming." She let her shoulders fall, opened her steps wide and returned to Momo's side.

Jeongyeon sighed, her heart pounding loud as if there is a loudspeaker in there, it's a chain of never ending hard thumps. I probably should stop this. She pushed herself up from the thin wall in between her and Nayeon's room, swiping her hair to her ear before heading to her room. Jeongyeon had been thinking back to the night during Olavsoka festival, she almost crossed the line that should not have been crossed, complicated feelings lingered until now. She did like Nayeon, but she was unsure about her feelings towards her, sometimes it is hard for her to distinguish between friend and love, and that happened.

She knows avoiding is not the solution forever, but the fact that Nayeon has been wanting to spend time alone with her is scaring her out, she thought again and again about her choices of words that night, she was sure that she did not say anything wrong, right? Jeongyeon has a strong sense of helping others, and when it comes to her friends she just had to butt in, and now it came to Nayeon, a friend, or was it her crush? Jeongyeon sees Nayeon as a friend, and a crush, there is no wrong in crushing on your friend....Right? She stopped in front of her room, her hand stopped the motion of opening the door. Crushing on a friend....this might end badly. Jeongyeon rolled her eyes, trying to keep her thoughts away.

"Hey." She knew the owner of the voice. "Yeah?" Jeongyeon did not dare to look, her hand slipped off the knob. It was the first time Nayeon stomped her way to Jeongyeon. "We should talk." She voiced it bluntly, she was glaring and Jeongyeon could not look at her, her eyes were still translucent like that night. "It wasn't that serious, it hasn't been a month too." Her thoughts were almost being thrown away, however because of the interference, it rebelled against her. Jeongyeon's hand went back to the door knob. "You could've talk it out then." Nayeon stopped the hand from opening the door, her grip as tight as their first clashing months ago.
