Your POV

"Are you a human?"

I froze at his question and just stared at the elder elf.

"How did you - "

The elder immediately fell down on his knees and literally did a full new year's bow at me. "Hey! What are you doing?!" panicking since he's obviously older than me.

"I, Aldon, welcome the child of the moon."

Child of the what?

"What do you mean? Listen just stand up and - "

Gasps filled up the whole room as I looked around in a flustered manner. "Aldon, is this true?" the king stood up from his throne while I bend down and grabbed Aldon by the arm pulling him up but the damned old elf just stayed stuck on the floor but he turned his attention to the kick.

"Your highness! I can prove it when we take her to the moon temple!" Aldon said.

"Wait a minute! Can someone explain to me?"

It didn't take too long before the elves dragged me out of the throne room and finding myself sitting inside a carriage. Aldon sat next to me while Callon sat in front, he was actually forced to come along.

"Why should I come along?!" the elf scowled, "Because you found her first so that's why." the king waved his hand before leaving the whining Callon behind.

"Hey, is your hair always like that?" Callon spoke which snapped me out of my daze. Why is he talking to me?

"I actually coloured it. My real hair is a darker colour like this." pointing at the dark roots of my hair. "Amazing! You can colour your hair?" Aldon gasped and I swear I could see how his eyes twinkling.

"Y-yeah, it'll fade in a few weeks anyway." I mumbled and looked away, paying attention to the scenery moving past us. The amount of elves walking around as we passed them, it seems to be a market place with the stands surrounding the road.

My eyes spotted a group of elves that stood out. Why? Because compared to the elves around them, they're the only ones who have a darker skin tone, almost black with purple eyes. Those are -

"Dark elves."

Callon sat up straight as he looked at me in shock, "How do you know about dark elves?" he asked in a rather accusing tone. Now how am I supposed to answer this? Back at my world we know about them through movies and games? These people don't even know what's a movie and game.

"I've read about them."

Well, if you count reading mangas as something then. "Impossible, the dark elves are very closed off and to have a book about them is very rare. Almost close to none after the war." Aldon mumbled.

"What are you scheming mortal?" Callon gritted his teeth making me scoff. "Don't call me mortal, I have a name excuse you." ignoring his burning gaze on me but I still answered his question.

"I read it... in a book from... Taehyung's library."

Sorry Taehyung, I'll use your name for this one. I promise to make that pudding for you once I get back.
