Edward's POV
'Punch Harder. Kick Harder. Bloody Hell Edward. I taught you all this last week.' My trainer Louis spieled me. 'It’s step, punch, punch, kick, side kick. How many times do I have to tell you?'
'About another million because I have bloody short term memory Idiot.' I answered with my infamous smirk on my face.
'That's it I quit.' Louis said storming out of the room. I may have short term memory which isn't that bad it's just my excuse for not listening but I have had ten different trainers and each one quit.
Edward: 10
Trainers: 0
The headmistress of the training centre came into my private training room.
'Morning Headmistress Gloss, How are you this fine, fine morning?'
'Don't play nice with me King. Louis just quit. Your tenth trainer?'
'Yes Headmistress.'
'Don't be like that with me. I know what you're doing King. You are trying to make sure you die. Making sure you know too many different strategies to stick with one to get yourself killed. Am I right?'
'No.' I answered smirking as usual. 'It isn't my fault that my trainers are upmost idiots that can't train me.'
'Well I have also noticed that they were all males so we, I have gotten you a female trainer maybe now you will focus.' She said and walked out of the room. I gave her back the finger.
'Well you must be Edward.' I heard a female voice say behind me. I turned to see nothing. It must be my imagination. I walked over to the weights and got the heaviest and started lifting them.
'I though you would have been able to see me Edward.' The voice said yet again. 'I have been here your whole training session.'
'Where the hell are you?' I yelled getting up. I looked around the room to see nothing. I looked up to the ceiling to see a girl my age hanging from the rafters. She let go and did a front flip in mid-air before landing perfectly.
'Right here Edward. I'm Cheri. You're new trainer.'
'I don't need you. I don't need anyone. I can fight.'
'Okay then fight me.'
'No! You're a girl. I don't hurt girls.'
'What do you think you'll have to do in the arena? Kiss them to death? Flirt with them? Give up Edward. You're scared of fighting me because you'll lose.'
'Hell no. Bring it on.'
She came towards me and tried to punch my face but then ducked as I went to block her and knocked me off my feet.
'Oh now I see why you don't need any training.' She said sarcastically. 'I see you need to learn to fight.'
'What are you even doing? I always get rid of my trainers.'
'Well lucky for you I have been observing you for the last few months and see that you have some potential. If you can lose some of your confidence and learn to listen you might actually get to win this.'
'I will win with or without your help.' I spat at her getting up.
'Well you're lucky. I have been seeing that you use the "short term memory" thing to your advantage. I am originally from here but was top of the school and was offered a job teaching the peacekeepers in District Two but was invited from Headmistress Gloss to teach you. I was up for a challenge. The challenge of you. Gloss and I were best friends when we both went here. We split up when she came back from winning the games and I moved Districts. This one boy in our year reminds me a lot of you. His name was Gavin. He looks very similar to you.'
