MALEC ONE SHOT 3

Papa and Rafe -8

"Magnus .....it's him..." said Jace with much difficulty.

Magnus' eyes widened.

He used all his magic without thinking anything and removed all the chunks of the concrete from Alec's body .

Both Jace and Magnus could see Alec's limp body laying on it's stomach under the rubble .

"Alexander...Alexander...Love..." said Magnus frantically and tried to move Alec's body.

Magnus turned Alec to his front.

There was Max held tight to his chest  by Alec. Both of them were not responding.

Magnus checked Max. Max was breathing . Magnus sighed a relief. He pulled Max out from Alec's embrace and gave him to Jace . Jace held his loving unconscious nephew in his arms amidst tremendous pain and tried to bring him back. 

"Kiddo , wake up , sweetie...wake up.." pleaded Jace tapping Max's little cheeks.

After handing over his son to his uncle ,Magnus checked his love.

Magnus held a hand on Alec's cheeks.

"Love , wake up...Love..." said Magnus.

But Magnus found something unusual.

Magnus looked at his shadowhunter. His shadowhunter was looking unusually pale.

Noone knew what came on Magnus but he decided to check Alec's nose.

And.....ALEC WAS NOT BREATHING. 

Magnus gasped . He clutched little Rafe hanging in front of him.

Rafe was looked at his Papa. He was trying to understand what was happening.

The blood solified in  tissues in Magnus' body.

With utmost difficulty , he said

"He...he...is not breathing...."

Jace's eyes widened.

"What ???" asked Jace just to confirm whether he had heard it right.

"He is not breathing..." said Magnus in a cracking hopeless voice .

Jace came closer with little Max in his arms.

Jace looked at Alec's limp body and then at Magnus and  said " I can feel him. My parabati rune is still there and I can feel him..."

Magnus looked at Jace confused .

Jace said " There must be some mistake. Please check him again."

Magnus then checked Alec again.

He placed his hands at Alec's nose. There was no inhalation and exhalation.

A tear drop escaped his eyes. This was the fate which he always wanted to avoid .

He looked at Jace. Jace was looking hopeful.

"Check his heart Magnus, I can feel him..." said Jace.

Magnus nodded.

Magnus placed a hand on Alec's heart ....and...to his utter dismay Alec's heart was beating fast.

Magnus' color was returning with the feel of Alec's heartbeat.

"Oh...thank Universe. Thank you so much...you are so merciful ..." uttered Magnus .

He then looked at Alec and said " Oh , love , hang in there...You need a good CPR..."

"Boo...Papa..." said Rafe.

Magnus looked at his baby angel in front of him. 

Rafe was making grabby hands towards Alec.

Magnus understood that when the  Angel himself was with him , he does not have to give mundane CPR to his shadowhunter.

Magnus smiled and loosened his baby carrier for little Rafe to get free.

Rafe crawled on Alec's body and hugged him tight with his divine glow enlighting every corner of Alec's body.

"Dadda ...waky...waky..Dadda."said Rafe.

Magnus could not see the divine light but Jace said overwhelmed" Magnus, your angel is saving his Dada...."

Magnus looked at Jace and nodded his head equally overwhelmed.

After few seconds Alec coughed out loud. Magnus pulled Rafe first otherwise the little fellow might have flown out of his Dada's body.

Alec started coughing incessantly.

"Oh Love..." said Magnus and held Alec .

He snapped his fingers and a glass of water appeared.

But Alec was not in a position to drink anything , he was coughing .

Jace was feeling relieved. He looked at his arms. Little Max was still unconscious. He took the glass of water from Magnus and sprinkled some of the water on Little Max's face.

Max blinkd his eyes  and shrieked " Dadda...my Dadda..."

Jace held Max tight.

"It's okay , Sweetie ...it's okay...Dada is good. He is there.He saved you , Angel , he saved you with his life..see..." said Jace and made Max to look at Alec.

Max saw a coughing Alec and Magnus who was holding Alec to comfort him.

After some time, when Alec was gaining back his composure ...

He asked Magnus in almost above whisper " My ...my ..Max.."

"Safe...in his uncle's strong arms." said Magnus reassuring.

Magnus held Alec tight ...

"I am sorry....I must have given you a scare." said Alec.

Magnus nodded " My heart was about to stop, Love...Are you alright now ? "

Alec silently nodded his head.

Magnus sighed a relief and kissed Alec's head.

"Dadda...??" asked Rafe .

"I am good , my little Angel...you and Papa saved me..." said Alec to his baby boy.

Rafe went to Alec from Magnus' arms. Alec held his baby boy tight and leaned on Magnus. He was trying to believe that everything iwas alrigt and he was with his family once again.

Max looked at Jace and said " Dadda..."

Jace smiled and nodded .

He said " Of course, my Angel".

Jace came near to Alec and said " Hold this one as well buddy ..you have given a terrible scare to all of us.."

Alec tried to smile and held little Max in his other arm.

Magnus embraced the whole of his family, Alec basked in the warmth of the three most dear people in this world......
