Chapter 13 : Black Magic Pt 3

"Jace ......" said Magnus and ran to his brother-in-law.

Alec was tending to Clary . Magnus' voice drew his attention to his parabati. Alec looked at the direction in which Magnus ran. Alec saw Jace was lying on the floor with blood around him . Alec's eyes widened . He uttered " Jace..."

Magnus said " Don't worry , Love . Leave him to me...he will be alright.."

Alec nodded at Magnus with a helpless expression.

Magnus blinked at Alec reassuringly.

Max came near Alec and sat beside his Dada looking at his Aun Clary. Little Max was confused. He did not understand why his Uncle and Aunt were lying on the floor with some red liquid which was very similar to his favourite drink , spreading across the floor.

Alec looked at little Max by his side. Alec pulled Clary up a little and asked his baby boy..." Maxie,Sweetie ....Dada needs your healing magic to cure Aunt Clary..."

Max looked at his Dada. He was an obidient boy . His body started to glow with his tremendous red magic. 

Alec took Max's hands and place it on Clary's body. Soon Clary's body started to glow with Max's magic and the wounds on Clary's body started to heal.

Clary was cured . The painstricken groan from her was gone. She opened her eyes slowly.

In the meantime Magnus also used his magic to heal his brother-in-law. Soon Jace's wounds were healed.  Jace also opened his eyes.

Clary looked around and saw Alec .She tried to sit up. But she was weak. She held Alec and was trying to move up . Alec helped his sister-in -law.

"What happened ?" asked Alec to Clary.

Clary looked at Alec as if in a trance and asked " Where am I ?"

Alec looked at Clary worried and said " You are in your own house. Where are   Luci and Ali...? "

Clary looked at Alec in confusion.

Jace also started to wake up . He sat up and replied " They took him . " 

Both Alec and Magnus shared a worried look.

"Who ? " asked Magnus.

Jace nodded his head and said " We don't know. They were all wearing black balaclava , we could not recognise anyone. 

"Wherr ijj Ali....?" asked little Max.

Jace and Clary looked at each other.

"They just took Luci, Ali must be here.." said Jace now getting worried .

"Ali ....Ali...." called Max .

"Daddy...." said a fearstricken voice from under the bed...

Jace looked at the bed . He looked down at the bed , under it. Soon , Jace pulled out his daughter and held her in his arms.

"Oh , my little love..." said Jace and hugged his daughter tight.

"For a moment , I thought that I had lost you.." said Jace.

Clary came running near her husband and soon clutched her husband and daughter tight.

"Oh , my baby ...you are alright.." uttered Clary  in a relief.

Magnus stood up clutching a sleeping Rafe who was hanging on Magnus' body.

Alec pulled little Max in his arms.

"Dadda...where is Luchhi...?" asked Max.

Alec looked at Max.

He placed a hand on Max's cheeks and said lovingly, " Sweetie , don't worry ,we will find little Luci soon. He will play with you..."

Max leaned on Alec and snaked his arms around Alec's neck.

Alec started drawing soothing circles on Max's back.

Max clutched his loving Dada tight.

Rafe moved in Magnus' scarf. Magnus gently patted his newborn to make him sleep again.

Jace looked at Alec and said " We have to find Luci. Will you help me find my son ? "

Alec looked at Jace a little surprised and said " What are you saying Jace ? Of course I will help you. I am your Parabati and so Luci is in a way my son too.

Remember , once you told me that Max is yours ...

So this time I am telling you that Luci is mine too. So I will find him out at any cost."

Magnus clutched Alec's shoulders and rubbed them .

Jace and Clary tried to smile.

"Thank you , Alec..." said Jace and Clary.

Magnus said " Can you give me something of the kidnappers so that I can trace where is Luci right now..."
