Chapter 2: The Roblox burger mess
*5 hours before*
I stood behind the counter, waiting for my next customer at the Robloxian comic shop. The sun shone brightly, swallowing the shop with light. Robloxians sat on benches after buying hot dogs at a hot dog stand and Robloxians hurried to cross the street as cars whizzed past a sign that said, "WELCOME TO ROBLOXIAN CITY." I ran over to the storage room and restocked one of the shelves with comics. I hurried back to the counter to see Cattail000n waiting for me to come back.
"Hi! Sorry for leaving, I had to restock a shelf," I apologized. Cattail000n giggled and replied, "It's fine! Did you restock the superdog comics yet?"
"Yes," I said, walking over to one of the shelves. "We just got issue 27."
Cattail000n rushed over to the shelf in excitement.
"It's here! I've been waiting for this moment!" She said, snatching issue 27, nearly ripping the cover into pieces.
"Woah, woah calm down!" I said, taking a step back. "Treat the books with care!" She apologized and handed me the comic. I walked over to the counter. I grabbed the scanner, scanned the book, and typed something on the counter machine. Cattail000n was my friend and I always give a discount on my comics and make service extra quick. My hand flew over as fast as lightning and handed the book to her in a bright red bag with the comic logo.
"The comic is $3.99, but since you're special, it's $1.99." Cattail000n handed me some cash and waved goodbye. After she left, I sighed and looked at the money inside the counter machine and sighed, adding the $1.99 in. For some reason, I only got $20.57 in this week, which was really bad. I decided to cheer myself up by taking a walk. I bent down and grabbed the "Sorry, we have gone on break. Please come back later" sign and slipped out the glass door quietly.
