Bryan and Rhino sat on a ledge near a drive-in theater, the two having been friends for 2 years now. Playing on the large screen was the movie Matilda, and the two were able to see and hear it pretty well from their unofficial seats. Bryan's head was leaning on Rhino's shoulder as held a leg up to him, the other one hanging off the edge as he watched the movie intently.
Rhino himself wasn't really paying attention to the movie, but rather to the shorter, brown haired male leaning against him as his own legs dangled from the edge. One of Rhino's arms was wrapped around Bryan as the other was placed on the ground and supported the dragon-man. Rhino took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves unsuccessfully.
"Bryan, I have something I need to tell you..." Rhino said, catching Bryan's attention. Bryan sat up and turned his head to Rhino questioningly.
"I... I like you. And I don't mean as a friend, I mean as more than that. It's fine if you don't feel the same, I just hope we can still be-" Rhino tried to say, but was cut off at the end when Bryan grabbed the sides of his face and pulled him into a kiss.
"I like you too, you silly dragon." Bryan said, his eyes glimmering in the moonlight as he smiled. Rhino smiled back, before he pulled Bryan into another kiss. The two sat there for what felt like a blissful eternity.

"You were right, the view is beautiful!" Bryan said, peering over the edge of a cliff onto the beach below. Rhino felt more nervous than he'd ever been in his life as he fiddled with a small cube in his pocket. He took a deep breath, although that did nothing to help, and took a step towards his lover of 3 years.
"Bryan, could you please turn around?" Rhino said, his voice shaking, after he moved into position. Bryan turned around, and gasped once he saw Rhino down on one knee with a ring box in his outstretched hand.
"I know this may seem rather soon, but you've made me the happiest man, and the happiest dragon, in the whole known universe. Bryan Films, will you marry me?" Rhino asked, opening the ring box with one finger to reveal a beautiful diamond ring.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes! A million times yes!" Bryan cried, tears of happiness streaming down his face. Rhino got up and walked over to Bryan and grabbed his left hand, slipping the ring onto his ring finger.
Once the ring was on Bryan's finger, the brown eyed boy wrapped his arms around Rhino's neck and pulled him into a kiss. Rhino quickly returned the kiss, wrapping his own arms around Bryan's waist and pulling him close.

The two were quick to prepare the wedding, planning a small, secret, wedding in the woods. Bryan's sister would act as witness to their marriage, while Rhino's robot brother Dr. Kanoka would officiate. The two got married the same year they got engaged, and even though they were both only 19 at the time, they knew this was the right decision for them.
Afterwards the two moved in together at Bryan's parents' old house they had owned when he was 15, which they left for him when the two decided to move to Bora Bora and live out their retirement there. The two were happy as could be, and even with Rhino having to stay out of public and being unable to get a job, they had stable income.
A year after they got married, the two had a child together. Bryan hadn't know that he could even become pregnant, but Rhino explained that dragons didn't really have male/female restrictions when it came to birth. Bryan would carry the child for five months, before he would have an egg that the child would spend four more months inside before it was born.
When the child was born, both were very happy. They loved their new baby girl, who they decided to name Amethyst. The girl had Bryan's skin tone and hair, but Rhino's tail, wings, and horns. The three were a happy family, and they all loved each other very much.
But everything went wrong when Rhino was discovered and captured by an SCP containment facility. After that Bryan decided to infiltrate and get his husband back, leaving Amethyst under Bri's care.
And the plan had nearly worked! He had gotten so close to finding and freeing his husband, but it was all ripped away when an SCP escaped containment and Bryan was forced to escape.
He had thought that he could try and find his husband during the communication and while trying to escape, but he was very wrong. After escaping with three new friends, Mario, Kaylabear, and Xylo, Bryan was forced to go home unsuccessful with the facility set to explode behind him.
When he told his sister what had happened, Bri had been angry at him and blamed him. She took Amethyst, saying Bryan was unfit to raise a child alone, and left. Bryan had searched for his daughter and sister for four years, but during the fifth year he gave up on everything.
He let his hair grow, he began to wear baggy clothes, and he stopped working. He ended up living off the money he had earned working at the facility and the money he gained for his research of the SCPs there, which was a very large sum of money that would last him a very long time.
But one day he decided to go back to the last place he had purpose, but you already know that.
