Bryan helped Rhino move back into their house, the little cyborg girl coming with them. Her real name was Veronica, and she quickly became part of the couple's family, being like a daughter to the two. They missed Amethyst of course and they searched for her and Bri, but they got no sign of her.
A year after moving back in together, they officially adopted Veronica. Although they had no legal paperwork to prove it, she was their daughter. She was very happy living with, being able to play all kinds of games and being able to almost be a normal child, although she wasn't allowed in public.
Two years after that, Bryan became pregnant once again. The family was very excited for the new baby, and nine months later the new baby boy was born into the family. While thinking of names, Bryan had brought up his old friends and Mario's name caught Rhino's attention.
"Mario? Like from the video game?" Rhino said, to which Bryan and Veronica nodded.
"I always like Luigi more." Veronica said, looking at her new baby brother in Bryan's arms.
"Luigi... I like that name. And we can call him Liu for short." Bryan said. The rest of the family agreed on the name, and even the new baby Luigi seemed to like it as he tried to grab his mom's finger.
Three years later and the family of four was perfectly content. The parents still missed their daughter, but they had come to expect her absence. Eventually Bryan had gotten into contact with Mario and his other two friends, and the four met up again and began to become closer friends.
They were all a family, even if they were a secret.
