( Narrator's POV )

You know that one guy who isn't a morning person, that's Silver. Dan had woken them up just as the sun was coming up. "Rise and shine aqua boy, we got work to do ", he said ripping the sheets off. Blue had been stretching when he came in so he was in the clear.

"No...... ", he said sleepily. "C'mon, this is no time to be a bed Baggi ", he said grabbing his leg. "Dan. I'm going to politely ask to let me go at the count of 3, or your heads going through a wall. ", he said in a threatening tone. Dan looked him in the eyes and said the very he was going to regret. "Try me ".

"1 ", Blue took that as his sign to leave.

"2 ", Silver grabbing his carving knife.

" Uh oh "

( Blue's POV )

In the words of a human, it was at this moment that Dan knew, he fucked up. As soon as I got outside, Dan ran out with Silver chasing him.

"I'm gonna kill you Dan! I'm gonna strangle you, then bury you then stab you in the throat! Then I'll clone you and kill all your clones! And then I'll stab you again! ", he said chasing him.

Volcano had flown over with some fish and passed some to me. "So how's your morning? ", he said eating a fish. "Eh, the usual, Silver's trying to kill Dan. ", I said joining him.

"I'm trying to decide if I should help him or not. What do you think? "

"Well think about the pro's and con's of the situation. "

"Like what? ", I said watching Torch hold my rider back. "Well on one wing, Dan's a prick and we would all benefit from him being dead. But on the other, you need him in order to get weapons and armor. "

"Oh for Fatalis sake, FINE I'll help him!

( Silver's POV )

I swear to Gogmazious, I'm gonna make necklace out of Dan's toes! I was about to stab him only for blue to pull me back and lay on top of me like a rug.

"Get off of me! ", I said struggling. It was times like this that I really need to remember to get Blue off of the fish. We were stuck in that position until Dan caught his breath.

That was when I gave Blue the signal to get off. After I had calmed down, Dan began to speak with his annoying Konchu-self.
"Okay, now that you're done trying to gut me open, there's a Qurupeco making a mess in the woods. PLEASE try to take this mission nice .......... and.......".

Before Dan finish speaking, I had already flown of with Blue. I could already see the look on his face.

(Narrator's POV)

Silver and Blue were both highly excited. This would be their first mission! It would be a chance for Blue to hone his skills and chance for Silver to earn the title of "Rider".

Only problem is they had to find the monster first. Which would difficult, due to the fact it could sound like anything and everything. "Now if I were a Qurupeco, where would I be? ", Silver said while looking around.

All of these thoughts were interrupted when Blue Dived straight down. "Blue you son of a--! "

Soaking wet and terrified, Silver sat down after what he would call, "an aqua dive". "Blue! I swear to Gogmazios that if you EVER do that again without a warning, I will wear your coat for a blanket! ", Silver said while give Blue a death glare.

"Now help me get dry. ", he said standing in the sun. BIG mistake. Blue looked at him with a smug look on his face. Silver knew exactly what that meant.

"Blue no. "

*Mischievous cat noises*

"No.

Blue prepared to shoot steam at him.

"NO! "

(Silver's POV)

Why is it that everytime I ask Blue to help dry me off ............ I GET STEAMED!?!?!

As soon as he got close enough, I could feel steam covering my body. He does this every time I ask him to help me get dry. Once he was done having fun, we started to track the monster. Due to Blue's incredible tracking skills, it didn't take us long to find the damn thing.

Especially since it was already calling out. Oh, and guess what? Guess who it decided to call? I'll give you a hint........... he's the most annoying pickle ever!! "Graaaaaawc! ", yep, it's Grawcy!!

Me and Blue had to stay down wind so that he wouldn't small us. However he did see the Qurupeco, and went straight for it. The problem was............ he didn't reach it. Before he get close enough to grab it, something black jumped out of the bushes and flew off with it.

Feeling agitated and threatened, Blue started rattling his tail spines. It was loud enough to confuse Grawc and give us a chance to chase after........... whatever that was. I was not about to lose my hunt to another monster.

(Blue's POV)

Me and Silver kept chasing the beast into the woods. I could still smell the Qurupeco, but something was off. It smells............. dead?

As I was running through the trees, I barely noticed that Silver was being left behind. I came into a clearing only for a few simple words to come pouring out of my mouth ........

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!?! "

You can imagine how pissed I was when I saw that the creature we spent all this time hunting, was dead! It was just sitting there, not even moving! Oh! But the worst thing is this.......... it wasn't even eaten!

What a waste of a perfectly good meal! Whatever that monster was has brought shame opon all carnivores. That's when I realized I still needed to go back for Silver. As I was turning around, I heard something weird and startling. As I was walking away, I could hear the monster charging towards me. I jumped out of the way in time, but was in shock from what I saw.

The Qurupeco was both dead and alive. That's when I realized what had grabbed it......

I had heard the riders tell me stories about an elder dragon capable of raising the dead. I just wouldn't believe it until I had seen it. I know what did this......

I know what that shadow monster was.......
