The story starts when it was hot and it was summer and, I had it all, I had him right there where I wanted him

"Hey guys." You said as you walked up to your boyfriend, Bruce Banner, and your best friend, Natasha Romanoff.

"Hi, y/n." Bruce said wrapping an arm around your waist and kissing your cheek.

"What are you guys up to?" You asked as you leaned your elbows on the counter.

"We were just talking about an upcoming mission." Nat told you. You raised your eyebrows and looked at the two for with a confused expression, you hadn't heard of any mission. "It's just a small group, me, Bruce and Steve."

She explained and you nodded understandingly. You trusted them, why shouldn't you?

A few days later it was time for them to leave. You said goodbye to Steve and Nat before making your way to Bruce. "you stay safe." You gave him a tight hug.

"I will, I promise." He looked down at you with a smile before pressing a kiss the the corner of you mouth and getting on the Quin-jet.

She came along got him alone and let's hear the applause

A few days later the group came back. You ran down to give a Bruce a hug, only for him to dodge you and walk away.

You turned to Nat with a confused expression. "Did something happened on the mission?" You asked her. She tensed when you asked her.

"No, it was just a normal mission." She said before walking off. You looked to Steve, who looked like he had something on his mind.

"I need to tell you something, y/n." He told you. You were confused when you came down but now even more. Why was everyone acting so weird?

You nodded your head, telling him to speak. He took a deep breath before he let it spill out. "On the mission, I walked in on Nat and Bruce, in her bed."

Your face dropped, now you knew why they were acting weird. You turned and walked in the compound. You knew Bruce would be in his lab so you quickly rushed down there.

"What the hell Bruce!" He jumped when he heard you voice.

"Y/n, what's going on?" He tensted while playing trying to play dumb. Sweat came to his forehead as he looked at your expression, a mixture of anger, betrayal and sadness.

"Tell me he's lying! Tell me this some sick prank!"

He looked at you for a second before taking a deep breath. "What are you talking about?"

"Did you cheat on me with Nat?" You looked at him with tears in your eyes. He looked down and let out a shaky breath.

"I'm sorry. I really am, I don't know why-" you cut him off.

"Save it! I trusted you, Bruce! I trusted you, and you cheated on me with my 'best friend'! I can't believe you two!" You screamed as the tears fell from your eyes.

Bruce looked at you with his own sadness. "Please, I'm sorry." He said as you walked away. "Please, I love you!"

You slowly turned to him. "If you really loved me then you wouldn't have needed her." Then you walked away

She took him faster than you could say
