Author POV

The battle between Cynthia and Alder ends and Cynthia was the winner somehow. It was Ash's turn and he is battling Lance.

Host: Ladies and Gentlemen, the second battler will start. The Champion of Alola and the strongest of all, Red Satoshi!

Red comes out with a blank expression.

Host: And the Member of G-men and the champion of Johto, Lance Wataru!

Lance comes out with a serious expression. When he sees Ash he looks at him closely as he looks back observing him.

Ash's thought: I know he is using his Dragon types. I need to use fairy or ice types. But then...

Referee: Battle begins!

Lance: Salamence, come on out!

He said as Salamence comes out. Ash then sighs and grabs an ultra ball.

Red: I don't know if this is will shock them all or not but this might have an advantage to Salamence. Phermosa, come on out!!

He said as he releases one of the Ultra beasts which is Phermosa shocking everyone.

Host: Holy Arceus!! Is that Phermosa the Ultra beast of Alola?!

Meanwhile, the others were shocked seeing the Ultra Beast.

Mallow: Wait how did Phermosa get back here? I thought Phermosa is back at the Ultra Wormhole

She asks.

Bonnie: I don't know. I remember last night there is a black hole thingy but colorful appeared out from the sky and something came down.

She said while remembering the time she decided to sneak out of her room to grab something to eat since she is hungry.

Kiawe: Wait really?

Bonnie: mhm.

Lana: So that's why.

Lance: Salamence, use dragon tail!

Salamence charges Phermosa with Dragon tail.

Red: Dodge it and use close combat into ice beam.

Once Salamence charges at Phermosa, Phermosa dodges to the side then spins around and uses close combat on Salamence, and jumps away. Before Salamence could recoil, Phermosa uses Ice beam straight on Salamence face to its feet and wings but not frozen completely.

Lance: Salamence, use flame thrower on those ice.

Red: Close combat into the brick break.

He whispers loud enough for Phermosa to hear which it did and went to make a move. As Salamence almost melted all of the ice that traps it, Phermosa was already at the front and started to use Close combat to Salamence. Then uses Brick Break as the last move making it hit directly to Salamence and it flies past Lance into the wall and smokes appeared. Once the smoke disappears, Salamence fainted.

Referee: Salamence is unable to battle, Phermosa wins!

The crowd cheers as Lance return the fainted Salamence and grabs another Pokeball.

Lance: Altaria, come on out!

Altaria comes out and lets out a cry.

Lance: Altaria, use ice beam!

Altaria lets out an ice beam towards Phermosa.

Red: Use Protect.

Phermosa did like the barrier.
