Five and I decided the best, and most likely only, way to get any information for this eye was to get the help of an adult. And since no adult wanted to help usus, we decided to get, well...Klaus' help.

"Okay, so all we need you to do is put on some nicer clothes, act like our dad, and then will give you 20 bucks. Easy, right?" I told Klaus, running through the plan as we all walked up the stairs to our bedrooms.

"Easy squeezy." Klaus said.

I glanced at Five in confusion. "Klaus, darling, that's not a word." I said, looking at him. "Are you high?"

Klaus giggled looking at me. "Maybeeeee." That's a yes.

"Just go get changed, Klaus." Five said, as he pushed Klaus down the hall to his bedroom.

Five and I walked into Five's bedroom. I flopped on his bed but Five just paced around the room.

"Hey." I called, catching his attention. "You okay?"

"Yeah, fine."

"Mhm." I scoffed not believing him for a second.

"Y/N, seriously, I'm fine." Five said again.

"Then stop pacing, look me dead in the eyes, and say that again." Five did what he was told. He stopped pacing and looked me in the eyes. I could see in his eyes, they were tired. Really tired. He looked pale and stressed. I started putting the pieces together in my mind. That's when it clicked. "Stop worrying about the apocalypse."

"How did you-" Five was about to ask but I quickly put my finger up to my lips, signaling for him to shut up.

I heard light footsteps and our names being called. "Five? Y/N?"

"Window, window!" I whisper yelled at him, pointing at it. We had to make it look like we were busy doing something. He quickly understood and went to stand by the window as I laid down on the bed again.

Just then Klaus came in. SHIT! As he walked into Five's room, Five noticed him as well. I quickly flicked my hand, opening the closet and pushing Klaus into it. Then, with another quick flick of my wrist, the closet door closed just as Vanya walked in. Five went back to pretending to gaze out the window as I just propped myself up on my elbows, pretending I just woke up from a nap.

"Oh, thank god." Vanya exhaled as she walked into Five's room. "I was worried sick about you two."

I muttered a small 'sorry', remembering how rude I was to her last night as Five said, "sorry we left without saying goodbye."

"No, look, I'm the one who should be sorry." This caught both our eyes. I stood up, walking towards Vanya, wanting to hear what she had to say as did Five. "Yeah, I was dismissive, and I-I guess I didn't know how to process what you were saying. And I still can't, to be honest."

"Well, maybe you were right to be dismissive." Said Five as he started to walk around his room.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked him in our minds as I sent him a confused look.

"Just go along with it, it would be better for Vanya to get out of our hair so we can focus on the real task ahead." I just nodded back at him, understanding what he meant. Vanya was a good friend and sibling, but we can't drag her into this. Not yet, not right now. Five then put on his little show again. "Maybe it wasn't real after all. It felt real. Well...like you said, the old man did say time travel could contaminate the mind." Five stated as he moved one of his old trains on his desk, before walking back over to us.

"Then maybe I'm not the right person for you to be talking to. Look, I used to see someone. A therapist. I could give you, her information." Vanya told us.
