Beomgyu and San faced each other, one taking out knives and the other pulling out a steel, black fan.
"San! Make it quick and don't keep the captain waiting!" Wooyoung called, crossing his arms across his chest.
"Really? You use a fan now?" Beomgyu asked, slumping his shoulders.
"Pretty much," San replied, showing off a fan with an intricate pattern of dragons inside. The fan also had steel spikes protruding from the sides, making it deadlier. Beomgyu scoffed proudly while twirling a dagger in his hand.
"I wouldn't want to break your fan, are you sure you want to use it?"
"And I wouldn't want to damage your knives," San boasted with a smile. Beomgyu steadied his feet onto the cobblestone ground and reached into his jacket.
He dashed to the side, hurling a set of knives at the other. San smirked, unfurling his fan again and quickly deflecting the projectiles.
Beomgyu skidded to a stop, reaching into his coat again. San charged at the other, jumping and landing a kick onto Beomgyu's chest. The spikes in his shoes jabbed the boy sharply, causing him to stumble back.
Without giving him a chance to catch his breath, San reached into his coat and swiftly flung three, steel throwing stars. Beomgyu perked up, reaching into his coat as well and throwing a set of knives at the other.
The throwing stars and knives countered each other perfectly, neither projectile reaching its target. Beomgyu got up and brushed himself off.
"Throwing stars? Really?" The boy laughed, unsheathing another dagger from his coat. San shrugged, reaching into his coat again.
"Hey, they're just like your knives," He reasoned with a smile, "But they're quicker."
Beomgyu smirked, "We'll see about that."
The boy charged at San, throwing another dagger and aiming towards his hand. San dodged to the side, barely avoiding the weapon the other had thrown. Beomgyu dashed past him, turning around on his ankle and throwing out another set of daggers.
San twirled his fan, blocking the daggers and the last one barely brushing past his ear.
"Your aim's a little off Beom," He teased, lowering his fan and smiling warmly. Beomgyu rolled his eyes playfully, then lunged at the other. He spun a dagger in his hand and made a quick jab for the other's fan.
San quickly blocked, spinning around then landing another sharp kick directly across Beomgyu's jaw. The boy hissed, staggering back and clutched the side of his face.
San lowered his weapon again and put his hands on his hips.
"How about we call this one a draw?" San offered.
"Not yet," Beomgyu panted, wiping a smidge of blood from his lip. He charged at San again, the other's weapon poised again. Beomgyu skidded to a stop, picking up a couple knives he had thrown earlier.
He flung one of them at San again, the other blocking it with the fan. However, Beomgyu aimed the other knife at San's ankle. Beomgyu hurled it at the other, the dagger quickly jabbing the other's foot.
San yelped, and stumbled back. His grip on his fan loosened, giving Beomgyu an opening. Beomgyu quickly drew more knives from his coat and swiftly threw them at the other.
