ELEANOR flipped through a book as she lounged on her bed. She had just gotten back from Hank taking a blood sample from her, and she was trying to shake off the uncomfortable feeling she had as she was never a fan of needles and blood.

"You and Erik have gotten close." Charles stated as he stood on her open doorway.

"Mhm?" Eleanor asked as she didn't hear what he said at first.

"You and Erik." Charles repeated as he looked over the girl. "You two have gotten close."

"It's nice to talk to someone that isn't you or Raven." Eleanor teased as she quickly looked from her book to Charles, a cheeky smile clear on her face.

"And I thought you loved our conversations." Charles shot back as he lent on the doorframe.

"I can only take so much of your endless flirting." Eleanor hummed as she placed her bookmark in the book, to mark her place, before closing in. "You're lucky I'm immune to your dazzling blue eyes." She added as she looked up at the man. Dazzling wasn't the only word she would use to describe his eyes, or him really.

Charles couldn't help but smirk at the work she chose to use, "Dazzling?"

"They can be." Eleanor shrugged as it wasn't a big deal. And it shouldn't have been as the two seemed to always be flirting in some way. "But why did you come here, Charles? You didn't come all this way to talk about me and Erik."

"Just wanted to make sure you were okay." Charles answered softly. "I know you aren't happy to be here."

Eleanor just sighed as she moved to sit at the edge of the bed, in front of Charles, "It's better than some places I've been." At that Charles couldn't help but let out a sigh as he moved to sit beside her. "Plus, I have you and Raven, so it can't be that bad." Eleanor added as she shook off the memories that were starting to surface.

"And you'd always have m━ us." Charles quickly corrected himself, as he pulled her into a side hug. "No matter how much you want to get rid of us."

"I don't think I'd ever try." Eleanor laughed off, trying to lighten the mood.

Eleanor couldn't help the smile that came over her face as she sat across from her blonde friend. The two were sitting in the small sitting room that was in the facility. Eleanor reading a book, Raven flipping through a magazine, while music played softly in the background.
