{Greenland's POV}
I made sure my polar bears were near me. I watched them fishing in the ocean. A cub lay next to my leg and yawned, getting ready to sleep. I looked around and saw some of the bears waiting for me to leave and be able to eat him. I glared at them and they saw it and walked away.More cubs lay next to me to feel protected and I didn't protest. I looked around and saw some of my bears gone. I freaked out and got up brutally from the rock that I was sitting on. I kicked some of the cubs accidentally and they got scared and ran away towards their mothers. I sighed and regretted my stupid actions. The bears were the only ones who weren't scared of me.
I walked around trying to find my bears and saw a pack of them eating something on the floor and someone was beside them. He saw me and smiled and waved at me. I looked around to see if he was waving at someone else or it was really me. When I saw it was really me, I waved back hesitantly. He started to walk towards me and I froze in place.
When he got nearer to me, I quickly studied his flag. A maple leaf in the middle and two vertical red lines opposite from each other and in the middle was a white background. He had a smile and was carrying a bloody axe and in his other hand had a bloody bat. He had a belt with a pouch to carry a knife.
He stopped in front lf me and placed his axe in another pouch and used the free hand to do a friendly shake. I accepted it to try and be friendly when I hate touching people.
-What's your name? He asked still holding my hand.
I looked up and noticed some blood that I didn't saw before because it blended with his flag. He noticed me staring at a specific spot on his face and chuckled nervously.
-I was killing some seals, then I saw some polar bears coming towards me and when I was done skinning the animal, I gave the meat to them. Are they yours?
-Yes... Sorry for causing trouble.
-It's fine, I didn't want the meat anyway.
-You just wanted it's skin?
-Yeah.
-Oh... Don't you feel bad when you kill them? I asked and pulled my hand a bit and he let it go.
-No, not really.
-Okay... Well, once my bears are done eating, I think I'll go back home. I said and looked at my bears cleaning their paws.
-Aw, already?
-I've been out here for three hours, so I guess it's time. But, if you want, we can meet back here tomorrow same time?
-Yeah, sure! Meet you here tomorrow then. And don't forget about it! He said and I nodded.
He walked away and I looked at him with a small smile on my face. A bear looked at me and tilted his head a bit.
-What? I asked and he lift his snout up a bit and walked away.
I watched him going towards a female polar bear and some cubs. I sighed and walked towards my bear that was done cleaning and made them follow me back towards my territory.
3 months later~
We meet up everyday at the same place and same time. He was the second person to make me feel something in my stomach. The first person was Antarctica before he died. Ever since then, I've kept silent with my feelings.
I got ready for today and I thought that this day, might be the day that I tell him that I have feelings for him. I opened the front door and once I got out of the house and closed the door, I ran towards the place to meet up because I was late.
I saw Canada staring at the sea smiling. I cleared my throat to get his attention and he turned to me.
-Sorry that I was late... I apologized and placed my hands on my knees and tried to catch my breath.
-It's fine... But I've got to tell you something.
-Really? What... What a coincidence... I do too.
-Really? Let's say it together then.
I nodded and stood back in a proper position. He counted to three and we said the thing at the same time.
-I like you!
-I like someone!
I looked at him with wide eyes, and so did him.
-W-Who do you like? My heart was beating loudly and fast, hoping he will say it's me.
He hugged me and started to rub circles on my back. I hold him back, still hoping he will say me.
-It's you.
A tear came out from my eyes and I eventually cried of happiness. I had a huge smile on my face, it felt like when I confessed to Antarctica, but this time, to someone who I know will stay with me.
