I know everyone's already curious so here's part 1 of the prologue. Sorry to keep you waiting because it's almost the end of the school year so I'm quite busy these days. Plus, if I fuse them all into one part, it's going to kill you. So here it is. (More A/N at the last part of the chapter.)

Once upon a time in a far off kingdom, there lay a small village at the edge of the woods.

"I wish," Honey Lemon said to herself while gathering up some woods. And in this village lived a young maiden. "More than anything," she continued as she was getting a pail. "More than life, more than jewels."

There is also a carefree young lad. "I wish," Hiro wished as he get his best friend, Milky White, the cow as white as milk, out of the stables and headed to the house. "More than life."

Also, a childless baker with his wife. "I wish," Jack and Elsa said as Jack gave Elsa the dough and put it in the oven. "More than anything," he said and she continued, "More than the moon." And they both chanted, "I wish."

(Honey Lemon: Bold; Hiro: Italic; Jelsa: Bold & Italic)

"The king is giving a festival," uttered Honey Lemon as she entered the house.

"More than life."

"I wish..."

"I wish to go to the Festival."

"More than riches..."

"I wish my cow would give us some milk," pursued Hiro as sat milking the cow.

"More than anything..."

"And the Ball..."

"Please, pal-"

"I wish we had a child," said Jack.

Elsa glanced at the window and mumbled, "I want a child."

"I wish to go to the Festival."

" Squeeze, pal. I wish you'd give us some milk or even cheese..."

"I wish we might have a child."

"I wish," they all uttered.

Elsa opened the window. While Honey Lemon was dusting the jewelry, she picked up one from the table and looked at it, wishing that she can go to the ball. And all of the sudden, her stepmother, along with her stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella barged in the room.

"You wish to go to the festival?"  her stepmother asked boastfully. Startled, she pursued her chores. Honey Lemon's parents have died. Without waiting for her answer, she continued, "You, Cinderella, the Festival? You wish to go to the Festival?" Her stepsisters joined along. "The Festival? The King's Festival?"

Honey darted  them a look. She now lived with her stepmother who had two daughters of her own.

"The festival?" scoffed her stepmother.

Drizella and Anastasia shared a look and teased Honey. "Look at your nails," they mocked her. "Look at your dress."

"People will laugh at you," her stepmother discouraged.

Honey continued working. "Nevetheless, I still want to go to the festival and dance before the prince."

They thought that it's a ridiculous one so they just laughed at her joke. All three are beautiful of face but vile and black of heart.

Both of Hiro's parents are gone. Now he lived with her aunt named Cass. His Aunt Cass was at her wit's end.

"I wish," Aunt Cass uttered while she was getting clothes from the clothesline. "I wish my nephew were not a fool. I wish my house was not a mess. I wish the cow was full of milk. I wish the walls were full of gold. I wish a lot of things."

As she entered in the house, she was starled to see Hiro with the cow. "What in heaven's name are you doing with the cow inside the house?" she asked him.

"I thought if he got nice and warm he might produce some milk," answered Hiro.

"It's a she," she reminded him sternly. "How many times do I have to tell you that only shes can give milk?" Because of Hiro's stubborness, in Aunt Cass's opinion, she slightly slapped him.

Back in the bakery, Jack and Elsa are busy baking bread and placing them to plates and shelves. Then, there was a hungry girl who always wore a cape as red as blood. "Hey," yelled Jack over the girl who stole a piece of cookie from the counter when he turned around from putting a loaf of bread. The girl's name was Gogo.

"I wish," she begun. "It's not for me, it's for my uncle in the woods. A loaf of bread, please." Jack and Elsa stopped working, watched and listened to her. Jack loooked at the girl suspiously but Elsa just smiled gleefully. "To bring my poor old hungry uncle in the woods, just a loaf of bread," Then she took a bite and continued, muffling, "Please."

Gogo looked the cookie and Jack nervously. He and Elsa looked at each other. She sent him a smile but he gave his wife a scowl and looked back at the girl.

The stepmother and stepsisters of Honey haven't stopped laughing yet. But when the had enough, her stepmother reached for a pot of lentils. Then to Honey, she instructed, "Honey Lemon, if you can pick up these lentils," She threw them to the fireplace and threw the pot but to Honey. It's a good thing that she caught it. "And finish your chores in time," she pursued. "Then you may go to the ball with us.

To her daughters, she chirped to them, "Come along ladies."

"Yes, mother," the answered and Anastasia followed her. But before Drizella could go, she gave Honey her good words. Or rather insulting. "Good luck."

Since Drizella was still there, Anastasia dragged her and laughed. When they were gone, Honey quickly got to work in picking up the lentils. She realized that this will take her time so she might need some help. And she knew excatly who to call.
